You will be flying into Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH). It is a smaller airport with Alaska, American and United providing service. Some flights may need in layover in Mexico City depending on route.
We highly recommend bringing pesos for things like taxi's, tips, shopping. There are plenty of banks in town, as well as an exchange at the airport, but save yourself the hassle and come prepared.
The Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport is only a 20 minute ride from the Zihua Bay. Unfortunately Uber does not operate in Zihua but there are plenty of taxi's available right outside the airport.
Unless you plan on traveling to the further beaches (La Saladita, Troncones, etc.), you probably do not need a car. Everything is walkable or accessible via taxi and the area we are in is very safe. Downtown Zihua is a 5 minute cab or 25 minute walk from the hotel. If you do choose to rent a car JOHNNY RUMBO
We recommend booking these ASAP (if you have not already). There are limited flights to Zihuatanejo, and many hotels fill up months in advance.
Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your invitation.
We love your little ones, but respectfully request no children at the wedding.
See the itinerary for each event!
We ask that you use a local taxi service to get to the venue. We will provide a shuttle service for trips home at the end of the evening.
