Things To Do

River Street

Our wedding reception will be across the way from River Street. It is Savannah's iconic waterfront street filled with shopping, dining, and scenic views! You can take a walk along the Savannah River and watch boats pass by while browsing the local arts and crafts or enjoy a meal.

Broughton Street

Broughton Street is another great shopping spot Downtown. Whether you're looking for clothing, antiques, or a sweet treat, you'll be able to find it all! The street is also full of charming 19th century buildings.

Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park is Savannah's oldest and largest public park filled with oak trees draped in Spanish moss. On the north end of the park is Savannah's well known 150-year-old fountain. This is where we took our engagement photos! The park is a great spot to walk around and take in the city of Savannah.

Wormsloe State Historic Site

Wormsloe is a former 18th century colonial estate that is best known for it's 1.5 mile dirt road perfectly arched by live oak trees and Spanish moss. You can either take a tram ride or walk along the breathtaking road. It's about 10 miles outside of Downtown, or a 20 minute drive away.

Tybee Island

Tybee Island is Savannah’s beach, located about 30 minutes from Downtown Savannah. The island has several distinct areas to it. South Beach, home to the pier, is the main tourist hub, with public beaches, ocean views, and a mix of shops and restaurants. North Tybee is more laid back and eclectic, featuring local shops and restaurants, quieter public beach access, and close to the Tybee Island Lighthouse. Both are fun areas to explore with unique experiences!
