Nathan and Katie met on Hinge just a few months after Katie had moved to Tennessee, and only a week after Nate arrived there as well. Their first few dates were memorably in Clarksville where Katie was living with her family, and where Nate was stationed at Fort Campbell. What started as a timely match quickly turned into a meaningful connection, built on a season when both were adjusting to new places, new jobs, and new chapters of life. Early on, Nathan and Katie bonded over all of the transitions they were navigating and learned what it meant to build a life in unfamiliar places. That shared sense of growth became the foundation of their relationship. As things grew, Katie made the move to Nashville, and the city quickly became the backdrop for their life together. From concerts and nights out at places like Tootsies or Santa's Pub, to tennis matches, and walks along McCabe Golf Course's Greenway, they have countless fond memories of the city together. It also became a place where they loved welcoming friends and family, sharing not just the city they lived in, but the life they were building together. More than anything, Nashville felt like home because they had found home in each other. Over time, they traveled back and forth to each other’s hometowns in Nebraska and Massachusetts, fitting seamlessly into each other’s families, and feeling right at home on both sides. As time went on, the couple’s connection continued to deepen and was strengthened through both everyday life and seasons of distance. Through it all, they learned how to support one another no matter where they were and grew even more certain of their life with one another. Nate proposed to Katie at sunset on Panama City Beach, and she said yes! They are now settled in Savannah, Georgia, along with their dog, Joe, their goofy and loving companion. They are so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate their big day surrounded by family and friends who have been such an important part of their journey!
