Our wedding will take place in Medellín, where the weather is warm and full of charm — think elegant yet comfortable. 👗 Attire: Semi-formal — cocktail or midi dresses, and suits or blazers with dress pants. 🌿 Fabrics & Colors: Light, breathable fabrics and soft or natural tones are perfect for the city’s “eternal spring.” 🚫 Please avoid: White, ivory, or very light beige — those shades are reserved for the bride. 🍃 Tip for the evening: Since our celebration will be held in the hills outside the city, we suggest ladies bring a light shawl or wrap — the evening may bring a gentle breeze, or a little extra warmth might be welcome after dancing.
We wouldn’t recommend it! In the cities, it’ll likely be more cost-effective and much less complicated to simply use Uber. Fares are generally low, and you won’t have to worry about parking, unfamiliar traffic patterns, or navigating busy streets. It’s the easiest way to get around and lets you focus on enjoying your time instead of stressing about logistics. For traveling longer distances, domestic flights are the most convenient and efficient option. They’re quick, comfortable, and a great way to make the most of your time in Colombia without spending hours on the road. And if you’re heading to one of the smaller towns that can’t be reached by air, purchasing a bus ticket at a main terminal (not public transit) is the best way to go since it’s simple, affordable, and a great way to see a bit more of the countryside along the way.
