In our registry there is a cash fund to complete a service project in Uganda, Africa. The first time our paths crossed was in 2019, when Nate spoke at Courtney’s Uganda trip meeting. It was an important class for both Nate and Courtney during their time at the University of Scranton. In the summer of 2019, Nate returned to Uganda to build a primary school that serves around 100 students today. Our original plan for our honeymoon we was to go back to Nate's school in the small rural town of Bukanda to help develop the school. However, COVID has disrupted our plans. But contributing to the fund on the registry website will help us buy uniforms, build water tanks, get better resources for teachers, and more. The registry website will take off 2.5% of your donation so if you feel inclined to donate, more of your money can reach the students if you send a check to us directly. Thank you for partaking in this shared interest of both of us.
