Autumn and Nathan’s story is truly one-of-a-kind – or as they like to call it, a bit of a “ghetto love story.” Their paths first crossed at a nightclub, during a house music event called Space Taco that took place every Tuesday at The Basement in Pomona. Autumn was a regular, always there to dance the night away, while Nathan was one of the security guards, keeping a watchful eye over the crowd. From the moment Nathan noticed Autumn, he couldn’t help but be captivated. She was gorgeous, of course, but what really caught his attention was her spirit – how she showed up just to dance and enjoy herself, never paying attention to the guys who tried to get her attention. For months, Nathan admired her from afar, until one fateful night changed everything. Autumn accidentally left her debit card at the bar. During a meeting with his fellow guards, Nathan heard her unmistakable voice pleading to retrieve her card. In an almost movie-like moment, the other guards (who already knew about Nathan’s crush) playfully stepped aside, forming a “hallway” and telling Nathan to take care of it. Among them was Ryan, one of the groomsmen, who used to tease Nathan by saying, “Hey Nate, your future wife is here,” whenever Autumn walked in. This time, though, it wasn’t just a joke – it was the start of something special. As Nathan helped Autumn retrieve her card, a spark ignited between them. A simple interaction turned into a conversation, and soon enough, they couldn’t get enough of each other’s company. The best man (Tony Taboada), always supportive, even played the perfect wingman, striking up a conversation with Autumn and Nathan outside the club to help break the ice. From that point on, the two spent more and more time together, sharing laughs, long talks, and countless nights filled with music and dancing. What began as a chance meeting turned into a love story built on laughter, loyalty, and late-night adventures. Now, years later, Autumn and Nathan have built a life together – one rooted in friendship, love, and a little bit of nightclub magic. They’ve grown stronger with every step, and today, they can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter surrounded by those who have supported them from the very beginning.
