Maid of Honor
I met Bethany on September 9th, 2022. Our mutual friend introduced us, and she immediately invited me to grab coffee with her and some of her other friends. I was struck by her instant hospitality! She was so curious about my life and my years of growing up in Macedonia, and it was so refreshing to talk to someone who cared so deeply about my experiences. She invited me to volunteer at a DNOW a couple months later, and that's where I fell in love with Glowing Heart, a ministry Bethany and I continued serving in for 2 years after that. She's seen me at my best and my worst, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Matron of Honor
I met Trinity on the way to a DNOW weekend and we connected pretty quickly. I remember that because the van was super cramped, we were sitting very close to one another, and we were able to talk about a lot of different things. She wasn't in Glowing Heart with me, but her husband was, and so anytime that Trinity was around was genuinely the best. I asked her to be my mentor in April of 2023, and since then I've learned a lot from her as we spent many hours together, drinking coffee and talking about life. She and her husband have also always been welcoming to Nathan and I, allowing him to stay at their place any time he visited and having us over to share a meal and play board games. It's such a gift to know her!
Bridesmaid
I met Kalina on the day she was born, all the way back in 2007. My parents brought home a tiny little baby girl and I was overjoyed to have a little sister to play with, even though it took a little while for her to be able to play with me :) Kalina has gone through so much in her life, from sickness, to her siblings moving away, to moving to another country and starting at a new school, she continually amazes me with her strength! I'm blessed to have a little sister as cool as her!
Bridesmaid
Caroline and I met when we were 4 years old, after her family moved to Macedonia to be missionaries. We instantly clicked and have been best friends ever since. In her Senior year of high school, she started dating my brother, and now, 5 years later, I have the honor of calling her my sister-in-law. I was able to stand by her side on her wedding day, and I'm so excited for her to stand next to me on mine.
Bridesmaid
Carrington and I met at a DNOW that Glowing Heart did in Ruston, Louisiana. We were paired together to lead middle school girls, and we instantly connected and were fast friends. I had the privilege of walking with her through the process of deciding to move to Texas, actually moving to Texas, and then through the challenges that came after that. She is one of the strongest and most determined people that I know, and I'm so grateful to experience this life together. And I was able to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, so I'm so blessed that she is a bridesmaid in mine. God is so good!
Bridesmaid
I met Sophia when she volunteered at a DNOW in Perryton, Texas! She signed up for an 8 hour road trip with people that she didn't know very well, and then knocked it out of the park that weekend. She joined Glowing Heart that next summer, and since she did, I've learned so much from her on how to connect with students and what it looks like to show up for them. She is such an incredible leader, and I'm so grateful that she is still serving in Glowing Heart and ministering to students that need to truly understand the love of Christ. She is so wonderful!
Best Man
Sam has been my best friend since we were both juniors in high school, when Sam and I started having conversations about faith and being nerdy together. We would stay up late texting back and forth, and stay up even later gaming. We have spent countless hours encouraging each other, challenging each other, gaming together, and listening to our favorite CHH artists. This man has stood by my side through thick and thin, and I know that I can always count on him to continue to be a faithful presence in my life!
Groomsman
Enoch has been my brother since our parents got married in 2013. Both of us always wanted a brother, and we both got that gift in a very unexpected way. Enoch and I love playing games together, chatting about life stuff, quoting our favorite movies, and laughing at absurd comedy and music. We've had the privilege of watching each other grow up, and I'm excited to see how our friendship shifts as we both continue to grow up and go through life change!
Groomsman
Carson and I became friends in high school as we both tried to navigate school and have fun while doing it. We would hang out both inside and outside of school, talking, playing video games, listening to music, and being there for each other in joys and sorrows. As we went on to the same college, our friendship continued to be one we could share as we studied, navigated college, and met the women we wanted to marry, Maycee for him and Macie for me. A strange occurrence for sure. Carson has been a consistent friend and I appreciate his presence in my life!
Groomsman
Elijah and I met in middle school and bonded over a mutual love for Skyrim and Jesus. After a year of separation in 8th grade, we met again at the same high school and our friendship grew and matured with us. I have rarely met a more loving, sincere man, who continues to chase after Jesus and encourage me to do the same. I had the honor of standing beside Elijah as one of his groomsmen at his wedding, and I am beyond excited to have him stand beside me at mine!
Groomsman
Dawson and I met at our church's Young Adult Ministry and got to be part of its early growth. We both love Jesus and gaming, and we spend hours with each other almost weekly playing board games and/or talking theology. Living 2 minutes away from each other has made it easy to hang out frequently and really get to know each other!
