We met at a summer camp called Pacesetters, when Macie was leading as part of the ministry team and Nathan was volunteering and got to help out with Macie's team. We got to see each other's heart for service and for Jesus, and Macie quickly developed a crush on Nathan. Nathan realized he had feelings for Macie when he made a surprise visit back to camp the following week. We spent a month texting and getting to know each other before Nathan asked Macie out and drove to College Station to take her to Chuy's, and later that evening asked her to be his girlfriend!
