We invite you to RSVP online here under the "RSVP" tab or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with your invitation.
Please RSVP by April 12, 2025.
Our venue's address is 710 Eagle Bend Road, Clinton, TN 37716. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you to the driveway. There will be attendants there to show you where to park. The ceremony will be in the grassy area behind the tower, while the reception will be held in the garden area in front of the tower and under the tent next to the house. There are concrete walkways, cobblestone walkways, and grassy bits, so prepare accordingly. We will have to check on wheelchair accessibility.
Driving to and from by car will be the easiest way to get to the venue. The venue is located in a neighborhood. There are usually ride-share options as well. We will have to check if there is some kind of shuttle service that will be available.
For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking. There will be two valet attendants who can park your car for you or will show you where to park. There are five spots next to the house that are reserved for grandparents only.
Our evening ceremony will be outdoors in the grassy area. Cocktail hour and the reception will take place outdoors as well in the garden area and under the tent. Guests will walk to the grassy area for the ceremony to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
We are working to reserve a room block at The Holiday Inn Express. We will have more information soon. Feel free to let us know early if you are interested in being in that room block.
We will have to look into if a shuttle service is available for our wedding venue location. If not, ride-share options should be available.
We are still working on this, but if you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.
McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is the closest airport. The wedding venue is about 45-minutes away.
Our dress code is garden attire. We ask that you wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. Alternatively, a more casual attire look will be okay as well.
We want you to be comfortable, but we kindly would love for everyone to be in spring/summer colors (think Easter or a romantic picnic in the garden).
East Tennessee can be finicky. We expect it to be warm, but hopefully not super-hot. Humidity will depend on rain. It will probably cool off as the night goes, so a light sweater should suffice. Sunglasses, fans, or shade umbrellas will be recommended to bring in case of sunny, warm weather, as well as umbrellas for any rain as the ceremony is located outside.
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding unless indicated on your initiation. Otherwise, the name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation.
We love your children, but only children indicated on your invitation are welcome on our wedding day. If you're unsure, your invite will be addressed as "The ____ Family" to indicate your children are invited.
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour (meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta) followed by a sit-down dinner including Tuscan chicken, beef medallions, corn casserole, sour cream potato casserole, and tossed salad. We will have carrot and strawberry cake for dessert as well as a s'mores station as the evening winds down.
We will have to discuss with our caterer on how to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions if need be. If you have any restrictions, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along for tipping the bartender.
You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 3821 Kenilworth Lane, Knoxville, TN 37914. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Our wedding will take place at The Kincaid House on May 3, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 10:00 PM.
The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to park, walk to the ceremony space, and find a seat.
Our reception will end around 10:00 PM. As of right now, there will not be an after-party.
A cocktail hour will take place under the tent by the house between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites and lawn games.
