Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Maribel

Maid of Honor

Maribel is the bride’s older cousin but some may say she is her older sister. One of our favorite memories together is when we could sneak off to get chicken nuggets and frozen cappuccino blasts at night when she barely had her driving permit! Or our intense singing and dancing sessions to Shakira, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Other than my own mother, you’re the one who has known me the longest! Can’t imagine getting married without you by my side.

Brad

Best Man

Brad is the longest and closest friend of the groom. We have been best friends since high school. We have shared so many great memories and life experiences together. From hanging out everyday after school to having matching Yamaha R1 motorcycles, we have had SO much fun together. I am an only child but I can honestly say that Brad is like a brother to me.

Sarah

Maid of Honor

I first met Sarah through my friend Thespina so it was no surprise when we ended up working in the same department, we became work besties. Almost every morning, Sarah and I would meet up at Starbucks, talk about life and walk over to the office together. We become so much more than coworkers and I am extremely grateful for your friendship. I can’t thank you enough for your unconditional support, patience, and the unlimited list of drink recommendations!

Collin

Groomsman

Collin is one of the groom’s friends. I first met Collin at a vocational program that we both attended together in high school. We were supposed to be learning how to become diesel mechanics but our most notable achievement was our frequent visits to McDonalds after school for Big Mac’s and Sweet Tea. Who would have known this would be the start of such a great friendship!

Jocelyn

Bridesmaid

Jocelyn is the one of the bride’s younger cousins. Growing up we would always be mischievous and up to no good. As grown adults, we continue that trend! From getting funnel cakes at Six Flags as kids to getting everything off the menu at the La Michoacána ice cream shop present day, we always have a good time. Of course not as good of a time as we are going to have dancing to Bad Bunny at the wedding!

Jon

Groomsman

I met Jon through Brad. The more I got to know Jon, the closer we got. We share a common love for Downtown Plymouth, Coors light beer and more recently Honda automobiles. Brad, Collin, Jon, and I enjoy getting dinner and beers together whenever our schedules allow us to meet up.

Luz

Bridesmaid

Luz is another younger cousin of the bride. We lived together for a period of time and although Luz is an only child, she got to experience what it meant to have a sibling. She thoroughly enjoyed blaming me for things that would go wrong and I would annoy her with my antics- you know typical sibling behavior! But as an honorary sibling, I am so proud of the young lady you’ve become. You get that doctorate girl!

Neal

Groomsman

Neal is Maribel’s husband and the bride’s cousin. I’ve had to share my cousin with him for over 15 years, but at least he is able to handle my shenanigans and match my sarcasm. We have so much fun playing board games and charades during cousin’s night. Neal has also become a friend to and welcomed Remo to the family. They instantly bonded over their Lithuanian lineage, love for bacon buns, and mutual disdain for vegetables!

Kaila

Bridesmaid

Kaila is the bride’s younger sister and (almost) identical twin. We are 9 years apart so I've always looked at her as my daughter. You can be so stubborn and strong-willed, yet again we wouldn’t be related if you didn’t! I’ve seen you graduate from the “most shy” person to the “most likely to run her own business” boss! I’m so happy you get to see me and Remo walk down the aisle!

Rick

Groomsman

Rick is the bride’s younger brother and the most humble in the Ramirez clan. We’ve definitely had our adventures from making churros on Christmas, getting lost in the dark running low on gas with no phone signal at Blue Ridge Mountains, to sneaking off to the gas station at night with Kaila to buy slushies and junk food. Our new adventures now consist of being coffee, cold brew and margarita connoisseurs! Remo is also gaining a younger brother! They already have so many things in common, like going to the same barber and baker, even though they live in different states!

Thespina

Bridesmaid

Thespina first met the bride at the University of Michigan and they quickly became inseparable- bonding over their restless days during their graduate program. She is the one who introduced me to Sarah and cinnamon dolce lattes from Starbucks! Thespina has gotten to know me so well that she can instantly tell when and what is wrong by just my facial expressions and tone of voice. You were one of the very first people I met when I moved to Michigan, and you took me right under your wing. I am so grateful I got to share and experience so many ups and downs with you.
