Bill and Nathalie met through an online dating app in 2017. As they were getting to know each other through phone conversations Nathalie mentioned that Koto's was one of her favorite sushi restaurants in Syracuse, NY. Bill also claimed to frequent Koto's, and asked Nathalie to join him for an early Sunday dinner date after church service. As they were getting to know each other and looking over the appetizer menu Nathalie asked Bill what he usually ordered, to which he answered "I have never actually been here, it was just a great opportunity to ask you to dinner." Nat found it clever enough to agree to a second date, and they have been together ever since. They will occasionally share a laugh about how so much love blossomed from a little white lie. They made it official on May 13, 2017 and Bill proposed on May 20, 2019 on the beach in Milford, CT. (Proposal Photo Below)
