Maid of Honor
Growing up, Jess was the social butterfly older sister while I was the nerdy shy little sister. Somewhere over the years, we met in the middle and became besties. Dr. Jess is 2 Black Girls, 1 Rose's biggest fangirl, my favorite person to go backpacking with, and my favorite (and only) sister. Her medical training took alot of sacrifice, but Jess NEVER missed a trip, a family vacation, or a holiday. Family over everything is what I've learned from my sister.
Best Man
Yon is a character indeed, but the best younger brother I could ever ask for. He is one of the funniest people I know and keeps things lighthearted while confidently walking to the beat of his own drummer. Yon works in marketing at a company up in Boston and is currently looking for an apt with his fiancé, Kaitlyn. If you want another perspective of what it was like growing up above a funeral home, some good life memories within the Reichel brotherhood, or want to ask what it's like to have Nate as an older brother, be sure to find Yon.
Bridesmaid
Sivita and I were housemates in Sydney who spilled our guts to each other one late night and instantly became inseparable for the next 4 months. Afghanistan born, Sivita has an incredible zest for life and is the definition of a strong woman and good friend. Our 10 year friendship has survived thousands of miles between Amsterdam and NYC and major life developments (Sivita is a wife and mother of 2). If you want to meet the best listener I know, call Sivita.
Groomsman
Ronnie and I have know each other since middle school. We played competitive soccer together and Ronnie is my original gym partner. He lives with his wife Jess and adorable son, Grayson. As my longest friendship in the wedding party other than family, feel free to ask Ronnie about all our middle school shenanigans, and in what ways Nate has changed and stayed the same since.
Bridesmaid
Roxie is my one and only friend from college. She's the keeper of many stories as 19 year olds in Vegas, spring breakers in Cancun, and broke bitches in Atlantic City. If you need help breaking up with or firing someone, call Roxie. She's one of the wisest people I know and has always been there for me without judgment. Roxie always said with me it was gonna be one and done, and alas!
Groomsman
Since I’ve met Austin through Blair basketball, I’ve been looking up to him (literally and figuratively). Whether it was who he was as a basketball player, friend, hype man, or a fellow, stylish gentleman, Austin has been a huge inspiration. Austin works for Moody’s and does color commentary for the Rutgers Men’s basketball team. He and his fiancé Celeste live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you want to hear stories of who Nate was at Blair or the significance of Lady Liberty in our friendship, find Austin.
Bridesman
This lil Frenchie and I were housemates in Sydney when one night we discovered we shared one thing in common: we were tremendously unlucky in the love department. Multiple drinks and tears later, I knew I'd met a soulmate and new best friend. One month of living together in Australia quickly became 10 years of friendship across oceans and time zones. If you're in need of a SOLID laugh or advice on reading a bitch, call William.
Groomsman
Marino and I have had quite the overlapping life since we first met at Blair Academy. We ended up going to college at Washington & Lee together and then lived together in Brooklyn for four years. He has been a trusted confidant of mine through all of my romantic relationships in life including early days with Natasha so if you want to hear just how much I love Natasha and how perfect of a fit we are, Marino is your guy!
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I went for lunch the afternoon before my first date with Nate and she's been our biggest cheerleader ever since. We met in grad school and served as the self-appointed Social Committee Chairs of our class. While we both love bringing people together, we're in our element when deep in an hours-long, life-contemplative, introspective conversation over a bottle of wine. Sarah is one of my most fun and most supportive friends and is one of the best conversationalists I know. If you have two tickets to a random Broadway show on a Tuesday night, call Sarah -- she's always down for an adventure!
Groomsman
I mean this in the most endearing way possible, but TJ is the least likely best friend I’ve ever had in life. He and his family moved a lot growing up, and we only spent a year at the same high school. However, during that year, we became such great friends and remained so close despite not living in the same town since then that there were years at a time when we spoke every single day. TJ is a personal trainer in Charleston, SC, and lives with his wife Katie. If you want to hear about Nate’s top romcoms, our trip to Vietnam, or the Rose Petal Pluckers, ask TJ.
Bridesmaid
When I first met Kristina 10 years ago in Sydney, I honestly didn't imagine we'd become friends. She was this beautiful big haired mysterious enigma from Germany I observed from a distance for weeks. Soon I got to know Mama Kristina, one of the most giving and thoughtful people I’ve ever met. We even shared the smallest room in the house -- one of us on the bed, one of us on the floor -- for a month. She is a woman strong in faith and is one of the best gift givers I know. If you need someone to literally give you the shirt off their back, call Kristina.
Groomsman
Aaron is a close family friend but has functionally been my older brother since birth - matter of fact, he has known me since before I was born. There are too many memories and adventures to share, but Aaron and I have run the 2015 Philadelphia Marathon together and are currently training to complete a half IRONMAN in Atlantic City in September 2022. It's also a very exciting life moment to be celebrating marriage so close to one another - Aaron will be celebrating his marriage later in October 2022 with his wife Alexa. They are both doctors - ER and OBGYN respectively. If you want to know about the check game, trips to Bird in Hand, or memories through the 12 shades of Nate, ask Aaron.
Bridesmaid
Nate and I fought over who’d get to have Kelli in their bridal party....obviously I won. Kellion is my friend and homegirl, coworker at Dorson, my wellness coach, confidante, hype girl, and family. We share the exact same taste in fashion and she’s my fellow free-spirit at heart. Enter Kellion's aura and you're immediately drawn to her openness and positive vibes. Nate and I have had some of our hardest laughs and deepest convos with Kelli. If you want to get your ass whooped playing Catan, just call Kelli.
Groomsman
While Marino was on a pitstop in California, Max moved in across the hall from me at Rodney (what we call our apt in Brooklyn - it was on Rodney St). We quickly learned how amazingly compatible our lifestyles and interests were and shortly after began getting them tacos at the gym. Max is one of the most animated people you will ever meet. His excitement for life is contagious. If you’d like to know about a man that loves an adventure, the impact SUMIF has had on our friendship, or what life was like living with me throughout quarantine in early 2020, Max can shed plenty of light!
Bridesmaid
Leah and I became good friends in high school, both dancers and nerds. After high school, we stayed bonded by our comically non-existent love lives throughout our 20s and our mutual love for travel -- we were old school pen pals during my year abroad in Sydney and her year in Uganda. From the beginning, I could ALWAYS be myself with Leah as we're both exceptionally proud introverts and what some may call “quirky.” If you need a partner on the dance floor, just find Leah.
Groomsman
Jinesh was one of the original Rodney roommates along with Marino and Charlie “Chip”. Jinesh is a co-founder of a tech company that works in the fashion industry. Though he may be a fellow horror movie enthusiast along with Natasha, Jinesh and I have also thoroughly enjoyed New Girl and Suits - his entertainment watching is quite versatile. If you’d like to know about Nate’s vocabulary or mutual love for F1, Jinesh would be ok to help with that.
Bridesmaid
When I think of my summers during childhood, Devi is at the forefront of my mind. In the pool from sun-up to sun down, we also enjoyed intense games of House, days long games of Monopoly, and diabolical games like “Murder in the Dark.” While everyone else "aged out" of playing with dolls, Devi squeezed every drop out of her childhood (much to my enjoyment) and she's remained one of my favorite and closest cousins ever since. If you want all the stories (the good, the bad, and the ugly) on young Tasha, call Devi.
Groomsman
Though Charlie is one of my newer friends in life relatively speaking since we first started living together in Brooklyn in 2016, he has always felt so familiar. We would often joke that Chip was the dad of the apartment since he is the handy man of the group and most resourceful with fixing things, but jokes aside, Charlie is an avid woodworker. He lives in Greenpoint, BK with his fiancé Christina. If you’d like to hear about Mama Rodney or how Natasha and I spent our 2022 New Years, ask Chip.
Ring Bearer
Sterls aka Sterly Whirly aka Big Dog is hands down one of the greatest 3-year-olds you'll ever meet. In his few short years, he's binged a ton of live performances of Earth Wind and Fire, Bob Marley, and the Queen Beyonce, so naturally he's now a lil rockstar performer. With an Olympian for a dad, Sterls also has some pretty strong hand-eye coordination for a baby. Only God knows what he's gonna turn out to be... If you need a partner to watch Beyonce's Homecoming for the thousandth time, call Sterling -- he can’t get enough.
