Eat lightly and drink plenty of liquids

Answer

You may become dehydrated more quickly at high altitude than at sea level, so drink plenty of water and limit alcoholic beverages for the first 24 hours of your stay. Please be sure to drink plenty of fluids prior to your trip to prevent dehydration while in Colorado. Also, at altitude you may not sweat as you do at sea level, and therefore you won’t realize that your body is losing hydration. We want everyone in optimal conditions to celebrate the big day with us!

When the sun goes down the temperature drops 15 to 20 degrees, so it is wise to bring an extra layer no matter the season.

Wear Sunscreen!

Answer

Breckenridge sits at 9,600 feet above sea level so you are much closer to the sun than you are on the East Coast. Make sure to wear plenty of sun screen as you'll get tanner much faster than you'd expect.

What should I wear?

Answer

For the gents: suits suggested. For the ladies: formal cocktail attire, with a wrap or light jacket in case of weather. Wedges, block heels, or flats recommended.

When should I plan to fly or drive in?

Answer

The main event is Friday afternoon, but we’d recommend folks to fly into Denver the day before to acclimate to the altitude. If you’re sensitive to altitude sickness, we’d suggest staying in Denver for one night before traveling to Breckenridge.

If I'm flying in, do I need to rent a car?

Answer

You do not need to rent a car unless you plan on travelling outside of Breckenridge. From the airport to Breckenridge, you can book a car service with Epic Mountain Express using our wedding coupon code, BD99SH or B69. There is public transportation services and Uber in the town of Breckenridge.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite says "and Guest" then yes. If not, we would prefer it was just you! But don’t worry, everyone on our guest list is fun, friendly, and excited to mingle!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love ALL of your children, however we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand!

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Ten Mile Station, which is located on Breckenridge ski mountain. The ceremony will be held outside on the patio of Ten Mile Station and there is a backup plan in the event of inclement weather. The reception will be held immediately after the ceremony in Ten Mile Station. The address for Ten Mile Station is BLM Road 34 0, Breckenridge, CO 80424.
