Yes! We are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond (ID: 546072840) and on the ZOLA site. Please see the "Registry" tab on our website. Thank you for considering a gift for our wedding.

Is there a dress code?

The recommended dress is cocktail, and bring your dancing shoes!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have three hotel recommendations and corresponding hotel blocks. The Hyatt House is preferred out of those three. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.

If I fly, which airport should I choose?

Answer

There are three airports in the Washington DC area. The Washington National Airport (DCA) is the most centrally-located. You can easily take the metro (Yellow Line) or take a taxi from DCA. The Baltimore-Washington Airport (BWI) is located about 30 minutes outside of DC. Please see this website for transport information (https://freetoursbyfoot.com/transportation-bwi-airport-washington-d-c/#metrobus). Finally, Dulles International Airport (IAD) is about 45 minutes outside of DC. Most domestic flights will not run through Dulles. We recommend flying into one of the other two airports.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome to the ceremony. The Saturday night reception is adults-only.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking garage near the church and near the reception. We highly recommend using public transportation or a ride sharing service (Uber or Lyft) to get to these sites. Garages and parking spaces may fill up on a Saturday night and can range from $35-50/car. Please see details about transportation options on the "Travel" tab.

How do I use public transportation to get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Walk one block to the Chinatown Metro stop right by the Chinatown Arch. If you don’t already have one you’ll need to buy a SmartTrip card at the vending machine by the turnstiles. Get one ahead of time at the CVS right by the hotel! Take the Yellow or Green Line to L’Enfant Plaza Metro Stop. Exit the metro by following signs for the “7th Street & Maryland Ave” exit and wait for the Free Wharf Shuttle that arrives at 7th St and Maryland Ave SW every 5-10 minutes. Check the shuttle’s live location here or on the Wharf App (http://www.swneighborhoodshuttle.ridesystems.net/default.aspx). The shuttle will drop you off one block from Union Stage! If you need help ask one the locals in attendance!
