In true sports world fashion...Nate & Kaley actually met while working at Sporting Kansas City. Kaley was in the middle of planning one of her amazing events when she reached out to Taco Republic to try and book their taco truck. She was informed that the marketing manager, Nate, would be in touch. Nate reached out to Kaley and they found themselves talking sports and how Kaley had recently moved to Kansas City from Denver. Kaley hung up the phone with Nate thinking their paths would never cross again, until a few months later, Kaley would receive an email from a familiar name. It was Nate reaching out about an open position at Sporting KC. With Kaley’s referral, Nate was hired for the position in sales at Sporting KC and the rest is history! Kaley soon became a loving dog mom and Nate found himself out numbered with three females as a part of the household (miss you Bella). Nate and Kaley spent the next year living on the Country Club Plaza with nights consisting of wine on the Brio patio, running the dreaded stairs behind the Lockton building, renting bikes to cruise up to Bella Napoli for their favorite sandwiches or in search of the perfect coffee shop to continue their tradition of coffee dates. They now live in a house they've made their own in Prairie Village and in the little free-time they have outside of their hectic work schedules, they love hosting a house full of friends, exploring new restaurants in KC, or flying to a place that now has an even more special place in their hearts, Hawaii. Not only is Hawaii where Kaley's family now lives, but where Nate proposed on Christmas Eve, 2019, on the beautiful Kailua Beach, at sunset...well played Nate!
