We sat a few seats away from each other but we didn’t become friends until a few weeks into another one of our classes when I made her watch a really weird youtube video. We both happened to join (at the time) the best semi-professional team in Dallas called Foro. We played together for a while and became friends while playing soccer frequently and eventually playing video games with our group of soccer friends almost everyday. We also got our first corporate jobs together working for a lighting company and Nate learned that his true calling was coaching lol.

It was the first day of mock trial boot camp at UTA and I had no idea where to go. I saw this girl who looked like the type to go to mock trial camp so I decided to follow her. I was right, she was also going to the boot camp! She was the first person to show up, and I was the second. In a room full of chairs, I did the only logical thing: I sat right next to her. She was mean at first, but eventually got nicer and we’ve been besties since!
