Things To Do

We have a weekend full of events planned for you, but we're hoping you have time to explore on your own as well! Here are some recommendations - but don't forget to wander. Getting lost in Italy is a "must do."
Piazzale Michelangelo

Piazzale Michelangelo

Piazzale Michelangelo, Firenze, Toscana 50125, Italy

The most beautiful views of the city! Instagram thirst trap- don't get hit in the head with an ipad.

Gelateria La Carraia

Gelateria La Carraia

Piazza Nazario Sauro, 25/r, Florence, Italy

Get gelato. Everywhere, all the time. There are infinite gelateria around Florence, but this was one of our favorites. Pro tip: just be suspicious of the shops that flaunt mountains of very colorful (aka artificial) gelato- besides those- you can't pick wrong.

Uffizi Gallery

Uffizi Gallery

6 Piazzale degli Uffizi, Firenze, Toscana 50122, Italy
, +39 055 294883

Some consider Florence to be the birthplace of the Renaissance and there is no better place to experience the art of that time than at the magnificent Uffizi gallery.

Accademia Gallery

Accademia Gallery

58 Via Ricasoli, Firenze, Toscana 50129, Italy
, +39 055 098 7100

The dress code for our wedding is anything butt..

Ponte Vecchio

Ponte Vecchio

Ponte Vecchio, Firenze, Toscana 50125, Italy

There are a number of jewelry shops along this historic bridge, but the views along the Arno just outside the bridge are some of the best in the City.

Piazza del Duomo

Piazza del Duomo

Piazza del Duomo, Firenze, Toscana 50122, Italy

You don't need a ticket to walk inside of this historic cathedral or beautiful square, but you will if you feel like climbing to the top of the Duomo. The Piazza is the center of Florence and definitely a must-see while here.

All’Antico Vinaio

All’Antico Vinaio

65 Via dei Neri, Firenze, Toscana 50122, Italy

This panini shop is famous - maybe too famous, as the lines can get long around lunch time. The bread is always worth the wait.

For all the days along the way
