Gelateria La Carraia
Get gelato. Everywhere, all the time. There are infinite gelateria around Florence, but this was one of our favorites. Pro tip: just be suspicious of the shops that flaunt mountains of very colorful (aka artificial) gelato- besides those- you can't pick wrong.
Uffizi Gallery
Some consider Florence to be the birthplace of the Renaissance and there is no better place to experience the art of that time than at the magnificent Uffizi gallery.

Ponte Vecchio
There are a number of jewelry shops along this historic bridge, but the views along the Arno just outside the bridge are some of the best in the City.
Piazza del Duomo
You don't need a ticket to walk inside of this historic cathedral or beautiful square, but you will if you feel like climbing to the top of the Duomo. The Piazza is the center of Florence and definitely a must-see while here.
All’Antico Vinaio
This panini shop is famous - maybe too famous, as the lines can get long around lunch time. The bread is always worth the wait.
