Allison is an Adjunct Instructor and Doctoral Student. She and Carolyn met in 2016 when she and her partner - Steven, an old friend of Nate's - moved to Baltimore. They became fast friends and have been ever since.

Thomas has been Nate's best friend since 1st grade.  They have remained close throughout their entire lives, through numerous ups and downs.

Emily is Carolyn's niece. Her interests include playgrounds, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, and high literature.
