Carolyn: After realizing that I wasn't going to find a decent boyfriend at college, I decided to give online dating a try. After a week or so, Nate and I started chatting, and he suggested we meet in person. I looked up a coffee place in Fells Point and suggested we meet there. He was very early and I was very late. This wouldn't have been a problem, except Yelp hadn't updated and my coffee place was now a lingerie shop! We eventually met up and found another cafe where we ended up talking for over 4 hours. Then, after 3 dates in the course of 9 days, he figured out I was into him. Nate: On the day I proposed, we took a sightseeing trip into DC. I planned on proposing first stop at the Arboretum, but when we got there they were closed due to a sudden power outage. As we toured other museums and attractions, I kept trying to figure out where else to pop the question. The art gallery seemed like the best place, but of course at no point were we alone in a room, and there were a lot of rooms. Finally during a break I called the Arboretum and they had gotten their power back on, so it became our last stop. I started to have the same problem, each room was occupied while we were there. Finally, in one of the last exhibits, it was just us. Of course, Carolyn said yes.
