Maid of Honor
Brooke is the Maid of Honor and sister of the bride! She was recently married in June to Ethan and just got into medical school!!! So maybe you can give her a high five or something, I mean, if you want! When asking Nichelle about her favorite memories with her sister she said, "well, one time we went to Spain for three months together and I loved it because she could get us into anywhere! Brooke honestly doesn't know a stranger and has this strange, but awesome, magnetic personality that people are drawn to."
Justin Beck
Best Man
"Beck" crossed paths with Nate freshman year of college and immediately was a terrible influence on him. Don't let the fact that Beck has literally zero enemies fool you. He is responsible for anything illegal Nate has done since 2007, including breaking into the Deanna Rose petting zoo at 2am. The two have traveled extensively together, including working at a remote Alaskan fishing lodge for a few months. Nate is grateful for the confidant that Beck will always be. Justin and his wife Alyssa currently reside in Denver with their two children, Calgary and Wilks.
Grace Hageman

Grace Anne Hageman is best friends with the bride. She hails from the same small town of McPherson (Mc-fur-son) and loves all things word-play and bacon. They became best friends in middle school and were lucky to have their lockers right next to each other! (G/H are pretty close in the alphabet) Grace has always pushed Nichelle to be a better person, like that time senior year where they made it a point to dress up every day! Grace went to Kansas State and became a Kappa, she currently works at Lockton with Nate and was the excuse for him to come over and say hello to Nichelle! Thanks Grace!
Colin Warren
Groomsman
Colin is Nate's funniest friend "no question". He was also one of Nate's first friends at William Jewell. Their first activity together was serenading females with a guitar on campus one night. They ended up wooing Justin Beck instead. One summer, Nate and Colin spent two weeks living in a Fireworks tent in the middle of Illinois. They traded fireworks for Taco Bell and fended off thunderstorms and occasional meth addicts. Colin is also an intellect and is always good for a book recommendation or NPR segment. He also throws a pretty great slider, but his command has waned since his college baseball days. Colin currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife Kara and dog Mose.
Jacqueline Erickson Russell

Jacqueline is best friends and neighbor of the bride and groom. Nate and Nichelle recently traveled with her and her husband, Grant, to see her family in California and long for the day they can go back. Did we mention she always has a glowing tan?? Must be a California thing. Jacqueline is the best when it comes to organizing parties, events, and general things that are fun. She loves long (wine) walks, the beach, and getting things to grow in her garden! Nichelle is VERY excited to be moving closer to her and her husband when her an Nate get married.
Micah Holdaway

If you're wondering why Nate's hair looks great all the time, you can look to his barber, Micah. Micah and Nate met Freshman year of college. When asked to explain Micah, Nate responded "Micah is my friend that's good at pretty much anything he does. He also does fantastic impressions and appreciates my jokes." Nate also noted that Micah has provided profound wisdom for him throughout the years. Micah currently resides in Hyde Park Kansas City with his wife Katie, and daughters Fannie and Flo.
Hannah Battleson

Hannah is the big sister of the groom and an incredible example of being a mom. You'll see her three little ones at the wedding as flower girls Brynn, Emmy, and Ayla. Nichelle said, "I love Hannah for so many reasons, I am excited for her to be my sister, and look up to her as a mom and role model for my own marriage." Hannah is quite adventurous, and always has a smile on her face. She's a rockstar!
Alex Hilton
Groomsman
Hilton, like many other groomsmen, was one of Nate's first friends in college. Nate was amazed at his physical prowess as well as his resonant laughter. Hilton is a fiercely loyal friend, and is always Nate's go-to for political commentary, or financial/investment planning. One of Nate's favorite memories is spending two weeks trekking through the Florida Everglades together. Ask Nate about the story where he froze over Hilton's windshield. It's a good one! Alex resides in Mission Hills with his wife Katelyn and dog, Remi.
Jessie Chastain

Jessie is the little sister of the groom and met Nichelle a little over two years ago. Jessie never turns down an opportunity for exploring. Nichelle remembers her first family vacation with the Chastain family in Arizona (after dating Nate for only two and a half months) and she was so excited to learn how adventurous her new sister was. Jessie has been all over the world, Croatia, Spain, National Parks - you - name - it, but always finds time to be fully engaged with her family. She works at Big Brothers Big Sisters in Kansas City, and oh, did we mention she is incredible?
William Gaeddert
Groomsman
William is definitely the youngest of the groomsman, and consequently the more exciting one. Nate and William met a little over two years ago. Nate has noted that he aspires to be as passionate about something as William is about Nicki Minaj, and as muscular as William in swim jammers. Nate's very excited and proud to have William as a brother!
Ashley Haynes
Bridesmaid
Ashley is friends with and a coworker of the bride. She's sassy and sweet and loves getting out on the dance floor. PS she likes WWE wrestling A LOT. Might wanna give her a little extra room on the dance floor ;) When asking Nichelle what she loves most about Ashley, she said "without a doubt her love for others and ability to make any environment a fun one."
Scott Kellenburger
Groomsman
Records will show that Scott and Nate have been best friends for about 26 years. They built forts together, broke into neighbor's garages, dammed up neighborhood creeks, and even tried to cut down a tree in the Chastain's front yard. Most notably, Scott once assessed a 50 yard off-side penalty on Nate in a game of one-on-one backyard football. Nate has noted that Scott is one of his smartest friends but also the incredibly trustworthy with unwavering integrity. Scott is currently a real estate agent and even helped Nate with a purchase of a home! Scott resides in Waldo with his wife, Joy and son, Justus.
