Natasha & Valerie

Wedding Party

Allyson Pereyra

Officiant/Bridal Party

Allyson is many things, she's worldly (she knows five languages and has lived abroad), she's funny (we bow down to elder chubs), she's kind (sometimes to Valerie but all the time to Natasha), but above all else, she's the best big sister anyone can ask for. So when looking for an officiant, it was an easy decision to ask her. Who better to officiate our wedding than someone who loves us so deeply? While she is Valerie's sister by birth, she has truly become the sister that Natasha never had. We can't wait to have you marry us and then celebrate the rest of the night with us.

Kevin Chaparro

Bridal Party

Natasha has known Kevin for almost all of their lives (there is a four-year age gap after all). When Kevin was born, as her parents like to tell Natasha, she was very unsure, but soon learned that being a big sister is one of the greatest joys of her life. While Kevin may be quiet, his love and his support are nothing but loud. Kevin has always been supportive of Natasha and Valerie's relationship in his own way, which makes him the best little brother they can ask for. We are so lucky to have him there on our big day - even if we have to drag him to the dance floor.

Shrien Alshabasy

Maid of Honor

Shrien is our collective maid of honor since this isn't your "typical" wedding. Valerie first introduced Shrien and Natasha over 5 years ago when we all attended SUNY New Paltz. Shrien and Valerie have been friends for over 15 years! Adding Natasha to their duo was like the missing puzzle piece ;) Shrien has always been our biggest supporter and cheerleader in our relationship, as well as for us individually. Even though Shrien is Valerie's childhood friend, it has been truly special watching her friendship with Natasha form independently. From being there for many chapters of our lives, we are so happy to have her for this next one.

Kirsy Guzman

Bridal Party

Kirsy and Valerie met in their freshman history class in high school (shoutout to Mr. Tillman!) and became fast friends. Their friendship has spanned almost two decades and has gone through many changes (hair and style changes alike - remember when we were obsessed with purple lipstick?! Should we bring that back...) and phases of life. From going thrifting, to recreating Pinterest ideas, to getting our licenses at the ripe age of twenty-five (it's never too late!), Valerie and Kirsy's friendship has seen it all. Who better to have on our special day than someone who has been there for all the ups and downs, and the in-betweens.

Angie Gomez

Bridal Party

Angie and Natasha met in their undergraduate years at New Paltz, since Angie was actually Natasha's mentee (although Angie was really the one guiding Natasha). Angie has such an infectious spirit (and laugh) and has become a close friend of ours after reconnecting post-grad. Angie always has the best advice and is great at listening in moments of need. She is never afraid to try new things (like pinneapple - IYKYK) or experiences, and we always have the best time with her. Having Angie with us on our special day guarantees a good time and that everyone will be in good spirits. We can't wait to celebrate with her!

Juan Pablo Molina

Bridal Party

Juan Pablo and Valerie met while volunteering during their spring break in New Paltz (such good eggs we were). Juan Pablo is such a kind and good-natured soul, and he made it so easy to reconnect after graduating. We are so grateful to have such an inspiring and thoughtful person in our lives. Something special about Juan Pablo is that he is an amazing artist, has great penmanship, and sends the most thoughtful letters and postcards. We are so grateful for the friendship we have developed over our adult years and look forward to even more memories, including this special day.

Susan Shala

Bridal Party

Although Valerie technically met Susan first during their college years, she has been one of Natasha's best friends for almost 10 years. Natasha and Susan met at SUNY New Paltz, and a fun fact, Susan was there the first night that Valerie and Natasha met (remember the undercuts you were giving out - for free!) She has been there for every part of Valerie and Natasha's journey and has shown us unwavering support. Susan is always so mindful, thoughtful, and has a generally soothing soul and presence. She was always the voice of reason when it came to making big decisions, as well as some dumb decisions (hey, that's college). We are so happy to have her be a part of our special day as a member of our bridal party!

Princess Rodriguez

Bridal Party

Just like Susan, Princess and Natasha met at SUNY New Paltz and have been best friends for almost a decade. Princess was also there the first night that Natasha and Valerie met; she even told Natasha that she could see them ending up together one day (she must be a psychic or something). She has supported every phase of Natasha and Valerie's relationship. Princess is the life of the party (and has some rad dance moves - remember Hotline Bling?!) and can make just about anyone laugh and feel welcomed. Princess has not only been a great friend to Natasha, but has extended her friendship to Valerie, which makes it so special to have her there for our big day.
