We are happy to report that our wedding is moving forward as an intimate gathering of immediate family and bridal party. Due to COVID-19, we have reduced the guest count to 45 people and we're implementing measures to keep our guests safe. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (entire event) will be 100% outside. For those traveling from states outside of CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI and VT, Governor Baker has implemented travel restrictions that require proof of a negative COVID-19 test at least 72 hours prior to arrival or a mandatory 14-day quarantine. We are monitoring this closely and will update this in real-time. On the Schedule and FAQ pages, we've shared with you the in-depth precautions put in place so that each of you can make an informed decision for our special day. For those of you who feel comfortable attending, we can't wait to celebrate! For those who are not, please know we absolutely understand and we will celebrate another time!
Natasha and Jeffrey met during freshman orientation at Western New England University, and you could say they're one of the lucky ones to experience love at first sight. Back-and-forth eye contact from across the gymnasium turned into a heated game of rock, paper, scissors, and before you know it, they were both counting down the days until freshman year started. And when you ask who made the first move? It depends who you ask. . .
Jeffrey proposed on what was a dreary first day in Costa Rica. Torrential downpours and high-speed winds made up the majority of the day, but when the sun finally peeked through late afternoon, Jeffrey snuck out of the room, had Natasha escorted to a beautiful all-white patio with the Costa Rican mountains serving as a breathtaking backdrop, and popped the question with a full audience.
