In May, expect spring-like weather with highs near 80°F and cool nights around 56°F with the possibility of afternoon sprinkles. But don’t worry, the wedding venue is tented!
This is a mandatory visit! At just a 7 minute walk from the Andaz Hotel, you must stroll around this park at least once to see the beautiful landscaping, water features and colorful vendors. This park is surrounded by cute cafes, art galleries, and restaurants and is an excellent way to get a taste of our favorite Condesa neighborhood. If you're looking for a coffee, meal, or churro (check out El Moro, the Churreria!) this is a fantastic place to start.

The Frida Kahlo Museum is located in Coyoacan, an area of Mexico City that is located about a 25 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel. Coyoacan is a small, colorful, artisanal part of the city with a local art market in the center. This is also the part of the city where our venue is located! Be sure to make reservations to visit the museum in advance - they sell out quickly.
Museo Anahuacalli is a museum in Mexico dedicated to Mexican art, designed by Diego Rivera as an architectural piece that unites past, present, and future with nature. The museum is a 25 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel.

A delicious and well known seafood spot - great for brunch and a very pleasant 20 minute walk from the Andaz Hotel. The tuna tostadas are a must order!
A Thai-influenced restaurant and listening bar that comes highly recommended by a local. Vibe is for drinking cold beer, eating with your hands, and listening to vinyls. You won’t find it on Google - it’s walk-in only and open on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 3-9pm. Just show up, knock on the door, and prepare to wait an hour - but it is worth it! One of the best meals we've had here if you enjoy spicy food. Choza is a 6 minute drive and a 15 minute walk from the Andaz Hotel.
Rosetta is a one Michelin star Mexican restaurant, known for seasonal ingredients sourced from small producers, with an amazing on-site bakery. Rosetta is a 10 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel.
Situated on the 56th floor of one of the area's tallest skyscrapers, located just above the Ritz-Carlton. Serving asian-fusion bites and sushi, consider booking reservations at sunset to see the insane views of the city! Ling Ling is a 10 minute drive and 34 minute walk from the Andaz Hotel, near the Polanco neighborhood.
Botánico is a picturesque Condesa spot with a rotating menu of seasonal plates. A great lunch spot very walkable to the Andaz Hotel. The space is so cool - live cacti and plants growing everywhere! Botanico is an 8 minute walk from the Andaz Hotel.
We've heard rave reviews of the tacos here - specifically the Al Pastor! A great late night or lunch counter-service spot. The Condesa location is a 17 minute walk or a 6 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel.
We visited this taqueria while on a local taco tour and were very impressed - try the "volcan" style if you are a cheese lover! Good for a quick bite while on-the-go. This taqueria is a 15 minute walk and a 4 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel.
The very first Mexican taco stand to earn a Michelin star with only 4 items on its menu - while we haven't been here yet we have heard great things! Located about a 15 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel near the Centro Historic District, this could be a good stop if you plan to visit this area to check out the historic buildings.

Looking to learn about Mexico City's trademark drink - mezcal? Visit MisMezcales, a local Mezcal shop carrying truly artisanal and high-end brands that can be difficult to come by outside of Oaxaca (the producing region of most mezcal). While there are a few dozen major commercial brands, MisMezcales only buys from small producers that grow, process and sell their own mezcal. We did a tasting here and it was fantastic - we learned so much! The shop is a 6 minute drive and a 13 minute walk from the Andaz Hotel.

A velvet-lined, Art Deco enclave with an on-site laboratory and cocktails derived from advanced culinary techniques. Handshake Speakeasy is a 15 minute drive from the Andaz Hotel, and reservations are accepted up to 3 weeks in advance.

A brand new cocktail bar hidden behind the kitchen of Paramo (a great taco spot in town, btw) - loved the vibe! Moody decor with great cocktails and sliders for a delicious late night bite. Explore the awe-inspiring Pyramids while uncovering the mysteries of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you want to go all out - book a full day tour with a hot air balloon ride over the pyramids! These tours are about an hour from the Andaz Hotel and usually include transportation, with pickups very early in the morning.
