The Wedding Website of David Shull and Natalya Balal
Rural Montana is quite a trek for most of our guests! As such, we've done what we can to set things up to be as convenient for travelers as possible. Our hotel block is with the Best Western, who have an airport shuttle for pickup and drop-off. On the day of our ceremony, we'll also have a bus running between the hotel and our venue for easier access. For those planning to adventure into the park or simply enjoy the surrounding area, we recommend renting a car! Transportation such as Uber or Lyft can have very limited availability.

Flight

Glacier Park International Airport (FCA)

The newly renovated FCA airport is the closest to our venue. Located in the town of Kalispell, it's a 30-minute drive to Whitefish.

Hotel

Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge

6510 U.S. 93, Whitefish, MT 59937

We have our hotel room block here, and we optimized the location for convenience! The Best Western has an airport shuttle for pickup and drop-off, and we'll have a bus running between our venue and the hotel on the day of the ceremony. It's about a 45-minute drive from the hotel to the venue. You can reserve from the View button below, or call the hotel for the "N + D Wedding" a: (406) 862-2569

Hotel

Star Meadows Ranch

4750 Star Meadow Road, Whitefish, MT 59937

For guests who value convenience, community, and a little adventure, our on-site barrack-style bunkhouses are the most affordable lodging option. Located right at the wedding venue, they're a great choice if you'd rather skip renting a car and don't mind sharing a communal space with other guests. The cost is just $150 per person for all four days. If you're interested in staying in the bunkhouses, please reach out to Natalya or David—we'd be happy to help reserve your spot!

Flight

Missoula Montana Airport (MSO)

The MSO airport is a couple hours drive from Whitefish, but it often offers cheaper flights and affords a scenic drive through mountain passes along rivers and lakes (including the beautiful Flathead, for which the region takes its name).

Flight

Spokane Airport (GEG)

This airport in Spokane, WA is often the most economical flight option, even though it’s about a 4.5-hour drive and crosses two state lines into Montana. We used this route when we lived in Spokane and enjoyed the scenic drive through rural Idaho on the way to Glacier. If you go this route, we recommend treating the drive as part of the experience!

Travel Note

Airbnb

For guests who want a more "local" experience (and possibly one closer to Glacier National Park), we recommend the many wonderful Airbnbs in the area. For these options, you'll likely want to secure a rental car at the Glacier Park International Airport.
