FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nataly Perez-Roman and Alec Olender
Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

We will be saying "I do" in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Specifically at Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Question

Where do you recommend we stay?

Answer

We recommend you stay at the Holiday Inn - Estes Park (Formally know as the Ridgeline Hotel). This is where our reception dinner will be held and it's only a 10min drive from Della Terra - where we are staying. You are welcome to stay at Della Terra as well, but they do have limited availability. This hotel offers 147 guest rooms in a resort atmosphere, complete with amenities such as a restaurant and lounge, indoor heated saltwater pool and hot tub with a movie screen, fitness center, game room, cruiser bike rentals, and outdoor fire pits with S’more's kits.

Question

Who attends the Rehearsal Dinner?

Answer

Our Rehearsal Dinner will take place on Friday, May 17th at Bird & Jim. Nataly & Alec's close family will be in attendance. If you are a friend/guest feel free to explore Estes Park's restaurants and have a wonderful dinner at your leisure. We will see everyone at our ceremony and reception!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite spring formal attire! Please keep in mind our ceremony will be outside on a trail when choosing footwear. We also recommend you bring a coat as it will be a bit chilly out.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We can't predict the weather but would say plan for cold spring weather in the mountains. There might even be some snow still covering the mountain peaks. Think high 50, low 30.

Question

Will I get altitude sickness?

Answer

Estes Park has an elevation of 7,522′ so definitely take it easy and stay hydrated to avoid getting altitude sickness. Monitor your physical activity and consider buying portable oxygen just in case. If possible, arrive a day or two early to help your body acclimate. For more tips or information visit: https://www.jenniecrate.com/10-tips-for-getting-married-at-altitude-in-colorado/

Question

What will the Reception Dinner look like?

Answer

Our reception dinner will start at 8pm with a cocktail hour (30min) and Champaign/sparkling cider toast. At 8:30pm guest can access the buffet and enjoy a tasty dinner. Later in the evening, dessert will be served and the couple will cut their wedding cake. Throughout the entire reception we will have soft drinks and an open host bar available.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes. We will have an open host bar throughout our reception dinner. NOTE: With high altitudes, your 1 drink counts as 3! (If you are having some altitude sickness, avoid alcohol and drink plenty of water!)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:45pm so we can catch the sunset. We will meet our vendors at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at 5:15pm and will follow them into Sprague Lake.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in this moment with us. For the rest of the wedding day, feel free to take as many pictures as you want!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Our photographer and videographer will capture our happy moment with our wedding party and guests. After, the couple will take solo images nearby to freeze this moment in time.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is the only thing we could ask for! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our honey moon would be much appreciated.

For all the days along the way
