We're Getting Married

It all started with Alec challenging Nataly to a taco eating competition after meeting online. The date started at La Torre Taqueria in Ypsilanti (10/10 recommend) where they each had 3 tacos and Alec had Horchata for the first time (A way to a man's heart is through his stomach ;). From there, they decided to go to Ford Heritage Park and walk around while making easy conversation. The date was going great and they both didn't want it to end, so they grabbed some boba tea and hung out at Pinball Pete's. By the end of the night, the smiles and laughs were many, the butterflies were fluttering, and a second date was planned. Officially, the date started as a challenge but concluded with both of them finding love and the person they will cherish and choose as a life partner.

August 2nd, 2022 marks Alec and Nataly's 4 year anniversary. To celebrate, Alec re-created their first date by taking Nataly to La Torre Taqueria before they reminisced their time together at Ford Heritage Park. As they strolled the beautiful park, they came upon a wooden tower that overlooks the park and lake. Alec suggested they check it out and Nataly obliviously agreed. There, with the lake sparkling in the background, the birds chirping, and nobody but them in sight, Alec got down on one knee and proposed! Nataly, of course, said YES!
