Question

Are either of you changing your name?

Answer

Nope! We are both keeping our names exactly as they are now.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Guests will have two main options to choose from: meat or vegan. The meat option includes chicken with sweet chipotle onion jam and cilantro (gluten free), and walleye crusted with almonds, thyme, and parmesan. Both the chicken and walleye will be available at the buffet for guests who choose this option. The buffet will also have a salad (spring mix, radishes, cucumbers, mandarin oranges, red onion, with a raspberry vinaigrette), vegetable sides (broccoli, red peppers and carrots) and garlic mashed potatoes. The salad and sides are all vegetarian and gluten free. The vegan option is an eggplant roulade with creamy polenta, and it is gluten free. The vegan meal will be plated and brought to guests’ seats. If you choose this option you are more than welcome to go to the buffet to help yourself to any of the salad or sides (all vegetarian). For kids under 10, we recommend the children’s meal, which is crispy chicken tenders and BBQ sauce, vegetables, and fruit. This will be plated and brought to kids' seat.

Question

What are the Covid-19 protocols?

Answer

We obviously strongly encourage everyone who is able to get fully vaccinated against Covid-19. To protect everyone and help avoid breakthrough cases, we ask that anyone who is not vaccinated or who is experiencing symptoms to get tested in the days leading up to the event. Anyone who would be more comfortable wearing a mask is encouraged to do so, but they are not required at this point. Please note that our protocols may change based on vaccination rates as well as Covid infections and hospitalizations in the area. Please check back closer to the wedding date for any updates.

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entirety of the wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will be held indoors. There will be air-conditioning.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is no parking lot at the venue, unfortunately. There are many street spaces with hourly limits, and several parking lots and ramps throughout downtown. You can read more details here: https://www.discoverstillwater.com/directions-4/ Below is a good tip from the website about the main parking ramp. The ramp is three blocks from our venue, and right next to the Lowell Inn. "We recommend using the Stillwater Parking RAMP (small daily fee $3 weekday/$5 weekend) located on 2nd St/Commercial St. next to the Lowell Inn and only one block from Main Street. There’s typically space available! You’ll need your smartphone to pay, so go to AirGara.ge , choose the “Stillwater Ramp”, enter your name and plate number, and off you go!"

Question

Does Uber or Lyft operate in Stillwater?

Answer

Yes, but they can be infrequent and take a long time to reach you. Below are some other options just in case. Stillwater Taxi 651.439.9999 Hill Valley Taxi Co. 651.373.9941 Tip-Top Taxi & Limo 651-383-6618 You Drink, We Drive 651.338.1425 (they will drive your car home for you) Last Call Car Services 651.789.2222 (they will drive your car home for you)

Question

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle to bring guests back to the Stillwater Inn & Suites at 10:00pm, 11:00pm, and 12:15am. Please note that the shuttle will not be available to bring guests to the venue at the start of the wedding, so we recommend carpooling or parking in the overnight public lot in downtown. If you’d like to avoid driving and the shuttle altogether, we recommend checking out the Water Street Inn and the Lowell Inn. Both hotels are within a few blocks of the venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is encouraged.

Question

How accessible is the venue?

Answer

The wedding will take place on the second floor of the venue. There is an elevator in the venue for those who need it. There is also a drop-off zone outside directly in front of the venue, so you can easily have someone drop you off at the front doors and then park elsewhere.
