Camp Catanese is an organization that Natalie and Will care deeply about. It is a year-round college access program for high-achieving students who don't have access to the same resources many of us do. It was founded by our friend Jason Catanese, who has taught in Maryvale for 15 years. He saw his students' intellect firsthand but quickly realized that most of them were not going to college. He built this program for his students, believing firmly that talent and intellect are evenly distributed, but opportunity is not. Camp Catanese's campers have a nearly 100% college or post-secondary enrollment rate, compared to the approximately 35% rate at the high schools they attend. They are among the hardest-working, smartest, and most deserving students, and we are fortunate to support such an amazing organization that serves 500+ students each year.
