We are so excited you're here! Thank you for coming to our website and even more so, joining with us in celebration. You have all made an incredible impact in our lives and while this ceremony is a celebration of our unity, it is also a time for us to express our gratitude for you and the ways in which you have supported either or both of us over the years. Your kindness, generosity, and care has led us to be able to love one another more deeply and intentionally so we thank you for your unfailing love. We're excited to celebrate with you all in 2022!
We met freshman year and remained friends throughout the first couple years of college. In junior year we had the pleasure of being neighbors with Turner living with a group of 6 football teammates and Natalie, 6 soccer teammates. Each suite with only one bathroom....(you can imagine how "pleasant" it was). Throughout junior year, our friendship grew stronger and continued to grow throughout the summer of 2017. Natalie's parents had the joy of meeting Turner in the fall of 2017, to which Natalie's mom said, "I just met your friend Turner - he seems so nice! Such a good midwestern kid. Are you sure there's nothing going on?" A couple months later, on December 8, 2017, Natalie and Turner went on their first date to the wonderful Junzi kitchen near Columbia's campus. Almost exactly 3 years later, Turner proposed in Oregon and (after some silence because of happy tears) Natalie said, "OF COURSE!"
