Our love story begins where all great romances start - a dating app. It was 2022, Covid was over and Hinge was the place to meet people. Torin swiped right first, sending Natalie a cute question based off the prompts on her profile. She responded, and the conversation never ended. Their first date was eating clam chowder at Pike Place Market. True Seattle cliches, the subsequent dates included mini golf at FlatStick Pub and a picnic at Gas Works Park. They moved in together to a townhome in West Seattle. After a couple months, Torin convinced Natalie it was time for a puppy. They adopted their chocolate lab, Philmore, shortly after their one year anniversary.

In April, Natalie and Torin went to Cabo, Mexico as a warm weather getaway. Costco Travel had a great deal! On their first night there, Torin proposed. They had a late dinner reservation, got dressed early, and took a walk on the beach. Natalie wanted to walk in the surf where the sand was softer, and of course a wave came up and soaked them both as Torin was preparing to pop the question. Torin got down on one knee, and Natalie said yes :)
