Wedding Party

Meet our Bridesmaids and Groomsmens joining us on our special day!

Lauren Spataro

Matron of Honor

Lauren Spataro is one of my oldest life long friends! We go way back, and by way back I mean to Pre-Kindergarten dance recital days. Despite life taking us on different paths for college and beyond, we always managed to stay connected and pick up right where we left off. We have a deep shared love of education, family, and celebrating everything just a little bit BIGGER! This has given us many wonderful memories over the past 25 years and counting. Lauren's love for others is the size of Texas and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her.

Kourtney Logan

Maid of Honor

Kourtney Logan and I have been friends since 4th - 5th grade when I moved to Denton, TX. She’s been there through the questionable fashion phase during middle school. We shared the many challenges and joys of high school including being on Drill team together (she went on to be the Captain!) You won’t find a more loyal and hardworking gal out there who has a love for Christ. From the stockyards to the chapel, she’s stood by my side through the years. She's shared many of life's joys and challenges with me. I couldn’t imagine my day BIG DAY without her!

Shara Dixon

Bridesmaid

Shara Dixon and I have been friends since I moved into our neighborhood in Denton. We’ve played soccer, run cross country, gone to country concerts, graduated undergraduate, completed a Law degree (Shara) and a Masters degree (Me). We've both shared the joy of wedding planning, weddings and the moving too many times to count, during our years of friendship. I’d consider that pretty special! She’s continued to be a supportive friend, with whom I've shared so many of life's special moments. I’m thankful she will be by my side to share my biggest life event yet - my wedding day!

Colleen Brick

Bridesmaid

Colleen Brick and I have been friends for the last 8-9 years since our Freshman year of college at Ole Miss. Our beautiful friendship started thanks to our Sorority, Kappa Delta. She’s driven and intelligent, and pushes me to pursue my dreams. She’s always ready for an adventure and always makes the time to catch up. From date parties, formals and football games, to weddings, we’ve shared so many happy memories together. My wedding wouldn’t be the same without her as one of my bridesmaids!

Paxton Williams

Bridesmaid

Paxton Williams and I met at a mutual friend's birthday party at Ole Miss. We've studied together, "Groved" together, and attended many more birthday parties together. Most importantly we've remained steadfast in our friendship! Paxton and I bonded over our shared love of fashion (fashion is truly our passion), Ole Miss Football, our dogs, and our drive to be successful. Despite living in different states, (Alabama & Texas) we stay well connected with weekly phone calls. She's always there to make me laugh, and encourage me when I need it most. She's remained a loyal, and caring friend that I'm thankful to have by side for my wedding!

Katherine Ratliff

Bridesmaid

Katherine Ratliff or as I call her, "Sissy," is my first cousin. She is more like a sister to me. She's helped me for as long as I can remember. I even followed in her footsteps by attending The University of Mississippi, Hotty Toddy! From preparing for Rush at Ole Miss, through each of life's many seasons, she's been there to offer me guidance and advice. I can truly say she's someone who has served as a role model for me over the years both as a wife and now mother. She has helped me grow into the young woman I am today through her continued love and support. It means more to me than I can say to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Karl Richey

Groomsman

Karl and I met freshman year in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. Had it not been for the Corps, we may have never met. At the time, we were very different people but soon became friends through common interest. He has no shortage of good humor and we hit it off quickly. We both love to cook and bonded over many nights spent smoking brisket before football games. Our mutual interest in tinkering, leads to projects including; making a portable drink dispenser for tailgates, to making a side table by hand. Through the years, he's always been there to pick up a little side project, play a game of billiards, or host an Aggie football tailgate.

Kody Tarver

Groomsman

Kody and I met by happenstance in Construction Science. We ended up sitting near each other in class Junior year and decided to partner on a semester long project. Many late nights and cram sessions later, we ended up becoming friends and bonding over the trials and tribulations of school projects. He is one of the smartest people I know and I wouldn’t have been as successful without his help along the way. In good times and in bad, he is a great friend on which I will always rely.

Collin Bednorz

Groomsman

We met sophomore year through a mutual friend in Construction Science. Collin and I hit it off pretty quickly shootin' the bull before the class and bonding over the trials and tribulations of our classwork. He always had an open door and we spent many evenings working on school projects together at his place. He was one of my closest friends outside of the Corps and was always happy to hangout and kill a few brews.

Adam Kellen

Groomsman

Adam and I met freshman year in the Corps and funny as it may seem, we didn’t it off right away. When sophomore year came around, we were paired as roommates. I didn’t know it then, but we would end up becoming great friends and he always impressed me with his multitasking skills. He is a steadfast person and dedicated to anything he puts his mind to. He is a reliable friend and we bonded over all things Texas eventually helping him take up residence here.

Matt Atkinson

Groomsman

Matt and I lived next door to each other starting out freshman year and we quickly became friends. He was actually one of the people who motivated me to transfer into the Construction Science program. He is never short on laughs and is such an easy going friend. We ended up as roommates during our last semester after senior year. We really enjoyed watching football and introducing him to some of my favorite car shows.

Cameron Taylor

Groomsman

It is surprising that Cameron and I didn’t meet until after college. We were at the same school, in the same degree program at the same time. We went to work for the same construction company after graduation and never saw each other until a year later. That construction company had several projects nationwide and I happened to be transferred from a project in Missouri to a project he was on in rural west Texas. When we met, we immediately became friends as if we’d known each other for years. Our lives have so many similarities, it’s almost like he is a brother. Even though we don’t live near each other, we pick right up where we left off when we talk or get together.
