Go visit the Downtown in Georgetown!
I now work in Georgetown at Southwestern University, and am only a few minutes drive from the square. There are delicious places to eat, drink and fun shopping. It's a small town feel with big city amenities. There's free parking all over the square. The above address is one of many free public parking options.
Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill
This is a favorite for both of us! You can't go wrong by stopping in Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill. There are 3 locations; Georgetown, Cedar Park, and Leander (all close by!). Georgetown is the original. Make a reservation and enjoy their brunch and Bloody Mary bar.
Haute Spot Event Venue
This is a great live music venue! We have been to quite a few shows here. So if you're in town after our wedding and want to see a show and listen to some Live Music - check out Haute Spot.
Jack Allen's Kitchen
This is a favorite place to eat! They have delicious brunch, lunch and dinner. I would advise to make a reservation as they tend to be busy and have longer wait times.
The Domain
There's shopping, eating and even the Museum of Ice Cream! The Domain is a unique outdoor area to visit. There's free covered parking as well. We love Flemming's, North Italia and so many other fun places there!
Casa Costa Bake Shop
This is one of our favorite bakeries! I would order ahead of time or get it to go. Lines can be long, but definitely worth the wait.
