Castello di Vezio
At the centre of Lake Como, on the bluff overlooking Varenna, standing for more than a thousand years is the Vezio Castle where the history, art, nature and culture of the area have blended in perfect harmony in a landscape of unparalleled natural beauty. In this old military outpost, you can visit the gardens, the dungeons and the walls, wander among the works of art, climb the tower that contains a permanent exhibition about the Lariosaurus and from where you will enjoy a magnificent 360 degree view of the lake.

Villa del Balbianello
Located in Lenno, a hamlet of Tremezzina, Villa Balbianello is one of the most visited villas on Lake Como. The villa hosts weddings, ceremonies and even movie sets: scenes from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Casino Royale were filmed here.
Villa Monastero (Tremezzina)
The Villa, owned by the Province of Lecco, is one of the main historical and environmental sites in the area, thanks also to its privileged position. The complex is made up of the villa itself, which has now been transformed into a museum and is also home to an internationally renowned conference centre, and the splendid botanical garden that surrounds it and extends for almost two km along the lake shore.
