We’re getting married!

Mitch and I met in high school our Sophomore year. I was the new girl and quickly caught Mitch’s eye when we started hanging out with the same people and going to the same parties. Eventually, we started hanging out just us two almost daily and became very close. As our friendship grew stronger so did our feelings for one another. Shortly after graduating, we made it official, boyfriend and girlfriend, FINALLY!

Mitch and I had taken a recent trip to Colorado just him and I, and we both fell in love. We knew we had to come back for another vacation. I had mentioned on that trip, while we were on Pike's Peak mountain, that this would be a perfect place to propose. Not thinking he would take it seriously... about 9 months later we came back to Colorado with two friends and while we were out sightseeing and hiking one day, we made a random stop. As we were walking around and taking pictures with a beautiful mountain range and water behind us, Mitch got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was the happiest day of my life! We are so excited to celebrate our special day with the people we love most! Now, let’s party!
