In 2020, change was a common thread. For Natalie, it brought relocating during the start of the pandemic to Southern Oregon to accept a travel contract for an occupational therapist position at a local skilled nursing facility. There she met Jay, a former travel OT, who had loved the area and had became a permanent resident. Jay just so happened to have an open workspace next to him. Over the next few months, they developed a friendship. Their time was spent sharing interests, telling jokes over candy during work breaks, and often surprising each other on what they had in common. Both OTs, both from the Midwest, both Cancers. Their chemistry grew and by Halloween it became clear that Natalie would be staying. Since then, they have built a wonderful life together. Blending their families, Grimm and Natalie moved in with Jay and Fen. The four of them have adventured together all over the Pacific Northwest. Time to time, Jay and Natalie will even catch a flight to travel dog free (though they talk about their dogs most of the trip). From Yoga to camping, skiing to roller derby, D&D to magical lands; Natalie and Jay have enmeshed their lives with what makes them happy. And most importantly, that is each other.
