All ages welcome. Food and drink available for purchase, but feel free to come after dinner if you are in town. Looking forward to mingling and saying hello before the big event! Our group will be located on the upstairs patio. The bridge that the space is named after is well known to the Durham community; go to 11foot8.com to see why it is called the "Can Opener" bridge. Walking directions from the hotels: we recommend walking straight up W Main St. to Gregson St, and turning left. The Can Opener will be just past the bridge on the left. It is about a 15 minute walk. Parking directions: free parking can be found along W Pettigrew St (gravel road next to the event space), 2-hour parking along W Peabody St, and there is also a public parking lot across the street (W Pettigrew public parking lot).
