6:00 pm
This event is black-tie, sparkles encouraged.
For guests who observe Shabbat, consider this your New Years Eve party! Come dressed to impress and leave it all on the dance floor. For guests who don't know what Shabbat is, congrats on being invited to your first Modern Orthodox wedding! We'll eat a lot, pray a little, and have a ton of fun. The schmorg is where all of the (best) food begins. Follow the passed apps around the room, grab a drink, and greet the bride who is happily doling out blessings. You'll know you're there at the right time when the groom is led into the room with singing that can be heard all the way to Jerusalem. The groom will greet the bride, be blessed by his parents, and help the bride put on her veil... then we're off to the ceremony!
7:15 pm
Now it's time to get hitched! Blessings, tears, and B"H, one successfully smashed glass later, we'll be wed!
8:00 pm
Dine and dance the night away (we got a great band, we promise)!
9:00 am - 11:00 am
Caffeinate, carbo-load, or whatever else you need to do to nurse your hangover and get on the road. We look forward to seeing you by the bagels!
