Lincoln Park Zoo
One of our favorite places to go for a stroll - especially in the winter during their "Zoo Lights" event! Take a walk through the free zoo, and while you're in the area, explore all the beautiful greenery that Lincoln Park has to offer!
Wrigley Field
Alright baseball fans, this one's for you! Located in iconic "Wrigleyville", Wrigley Field has been home to the Cubs for over 100 years! While you're there, check out the Wrigleyville Starbucks, and Murphy's Bleachers packed with loads of Cubs memorabilia!
North Avenue Beach
Walkable & bikeable from Lincoln Park or Michigan Ave, the views of the city skyline from North Ave beach are totally worth it! We recommend taking a walk out on the jetty at golden hour to see the true beauty of this spot!
Cloud Gate
An iconic Chicago tourist attraction! After getting some instagram-worthy shots at Cloud Gate (aka "The Bean"), take a walk through Millennium Park, and soak up the beautiful views of downtown Chicago.
The Art Institute of Chicago
The Art Institute is one of the world's greatest art museums! We love it so much that we have an annual membership! Within the permanent collection you'll find classic paintings by van Gogh, Monet, and Picasso (to name a few). If you're staying a few extra days, we highly recommend spending a day in one of the oldest and largest art museums in the country!
DryHop Brewers & Roebuck Pizza
Our neighborhood favorites! DryHop Brewers serves a rotating list of house-made beers, and their (next door) sister restaurant, Roebuck, has the best pizza on the block! It's not deep dish, but man is it good!
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
Speaking of deep dish, look no further! Lou Malnati's is our favorite deep dish in the city. Don't forget to add their signature "Malnati Salad" to your order! It's too good to pass up!
Pingpong
One of our go-to date night spots! This restaurant features Chinese cuisine and it does not disappoint. Codi's order includes a Mango Mojito and the Singapore Noodles, and don't forget the grilled potstickers appetizer!
The Coffee & Tea Exchange
One of our favorite coffee shops located just a few blocks from our apartment. Every month, this coffee shop creates new, themed, specialty lattes (seen displayed in the storefront window) ... and they're all delicious! Delicious specialty lattes not your thing? Totally fine! They have so many coffee and tea options to choose from!
