We're getting married (again!)

Short story long: There is no great big 'this is how we met.' First, we were just two cadets in ROTC who had similar friends, and then we slowly became friends. Brian used to say that I (Nat) didn't smile all that much and it used to make him proud to make me laugh. Our friend Katie, who so graciously has stuck around with us all these years, hit me (Nat) with 'Brian said he likes you'. She can have some credit for everyone reading this story right now. Similar to most couples, we did a bit of casual dating and breaking up before we both agreed to stick around 'exclusively' in 2021. We made it out alive from living together in a <900sqft box, doing long distance, Brian going to Ranger School, and learning how manage each other's neuroses at the same time. Shoutout to Brian for forever remaining my unbothered other half; it comes in handy on a daily basis! We were once asked to use three words to describe us as a couple and after an hour and some micro-arguments, we agreed on cohesive, playful, and ________. Say something about how we hope to allow our family and friends to feel that on our wedding day, and equally credit our parents for creating an example for what it looks like to live and work as a team, and to show up and work hard for each other but also, nothing is that serious!
