General Mitchell International Airport (MKE)
This is the only airport in Milwaukee. There are a few direct flights from Houston to Milwaukee on United. It is a ~20 minute car ride away from the hotel (Saint Kate). Unless you are planning on renting a car to explore Milwaukee/ Wisconsin, Uber /Lyft are the best options.

O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
This is the larger of the two airports in Chicago with lots of direct flights from many cities. It is a ~1.25 hour drive to the hotel, if you are planning on renting a car. There is also Coach buses that have routes between ORD and the Milwaukee Intermodal and Amtrak station downtown, which is a 5 minute drive away from the hotel. The bus tickets are $35 each way.

Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)
This is the 2nd Chicago airport. It is ~2 hour drive from the hotel, if you are planning on renting a car. Another transportation option is Ubering to Union Station in Chicago and taking the Amtrak train to Milwaukee Intermodal Station, which is ~5 minutes from the Saint Kate. The train costs $25. If you are up for these logistics, Southwest flies directly into MDW from HOU for fairly cheap.

The Hyatt Place is located roughly 1 mile away from the Saint Kate, but is located by fun things to do in Milwaukee. Including the historic Pabst Brewery.

The Pfister is a classic Milwaukee hotel, conveniently located a few blocks from the reception venue (The Saint Kate). They are working on renovations next summer, so there may be some noise.

The Kimpton Journeyman is the latest addition to Milwaukee’s high end hotels. It is located in the heart of the Third Ward, known for the industrial feel with boutiques and lots of good food, also very close to the public market and ~5 minute drive from the venue (the Saint Kate).
