Our story begins in the same 1st grade class at Lower Allen Elementary School. And while this was the only year we were in the same class together (one year was really all Natalie could handle), our paths did continue to cross throughout the next 11 years of school - middle school dances and junior prom, Youth and Government weekends hiding in the back hoping we wouldn't be called to speak, and at high school graduation. After high school, Stephen went out west to attend the University of Pittsburgh. Natalie headed east to attend the #1 party school in the country (University of Delaware) and then to DC for work and more importantly, brunch.

Grad school brought Natalie back to PA, specifically to Pittsburgh where Stephen was attending Pitt Law. One night Natalie saw Stephen out on the town and made her way over to say hi. “Oh no, she’s actually coming over here,” thought Stephen as he started looking in the other direction. Some small talk later and we learned we lived only a few blocks away from each other, so we promised we would have to hang out. Predictably, we never did.

We both moved back to Central PA after our respective graduations, with Natalie actually moving into a house across the street from one of Stephen's good friends. A few days after moving in, Natalie and her Mom were sitting at home watching Pitch Perfect (because why not) when Stephen and a few of his friends knocked on the door and welcomed Natalie to the neighborhood. A few months later, we went on our first date to watch the Pirates lose yet another MLB Wild Card game.

As you can see, fate had to intervene quite a few times before we got it right. A few awesome vacations, the best and cutest puppy, and the perfect proposal later, we’re finally ready to get married! We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our big day! ❤️
