Maid of Honor
Baby sister Christina is the best. She is one of my favorite sisters and one of the most hilarious people I’ve ever known. Christina can make all the Rosso fam laugh so hard that we get that silent ugly face laugh going. When she was born, I refused to learn her name but she won me over and to this day, she has an instinctual way of knowing exactly what I need in moments of high stress. I’m so honored to have her next to me on this special day.
Best Man
My older brother and the most fitting to wield the title of best man as a full-time position. Pablo is a very grounded, practical and punctual man. He is a well-researched guy which makes him my go-to for advice on any subject. Being very much a realist, he’s not shy to tell you like it is, no sugar coating anything. For the most part, he is the serious one between us both but he does come with a hilarious subtle sense of humor that will catch you off guard. He takes pride in dressing well and it's accompanied by a strong level of general etiquette. Pablo is quite generous and has taught me a lot over the years and if even half of these traits rubbed off on me I would be more than honored.
Maid of Honor
Little sister Allison is the greatest. She is my other favorite sister and the sweetest, kindest little lady. When I was 10, I was not pumped to learn that she was making me an older sister..again but now, I obviously can’t imagine a world without her special self. She is the hardest worker I know and makes me such a proud older sister. Despite our 11 year age difference, she always blows me away with her maturity and I continue to learn from her every day. I surprised Allison by asking her to be a maid of honor but I honestly couldn’t think of having it any other way.
Officiant
The first coworker I would call a truly close friend. He recently became a licensed Architect and also has a growing professional photography business. This humble, Texas-grown man has what I call a ‘southern mystique’ that people naturally gravitate toward. He is a Gentlemen, through and through, the best host money can’t buy. This is the guy you want on the grill, calculated with his approach, he is equal parts a Rôtisseur and Grillardin.
Matron of Honor
BFF turned sister-in-law Lesley is amazing. She was my first friend in Seattle and while I had a feeling we were lifers, I could have never guessed us meeting would shape the rest of my life. Lesley introduced me to Diego and somehow, we ended up marrying brothers! Lesley inspires me every day with her badass-ness and thoughtfulness. She can literally do anything. She is mama to sweet little Mila who clearly waited to be born so that Lesley could be part of our engagement day. I stood by Lesley on her day and I’m so thrilled she will be next to me on mine.
Groomsman
My future younger brother-(I always wanted)-in-law. John harmoniously balances his artistic musical side with his kinesiology background. Athletic trainer by day and lead singer/songwriter by night. As a fellow goofball, John’s strong sense of humor made a great first impression on me when I first came to meet the family which allowed me to quickly come to the conclusion that I would fit in with the Rossomondo’s just fine.
Matron of Honor
OG BFF Cassie always blows me away. We met in high school on Drill Team and the rest, as they say, is history. Despite never living in the same city since then, our friendship continues to grow stronger every year. Cassie may be one of the only people who can talk me into almost anything and she adds excitement to every single situation. Even though I may not share the EXACT same enthusiasm she has for the Ravens, Cassie is the sole reason that I am a fan despite growing up in a Redskins household and moving across country where watching the game became increasingly difficult. Her support and love over the years have helped me grow to the woman I am today and I love her so much. Having her stand next to me at our wedding is such an honor.
Groomsman
Aaron has been my best friend since middle school in Massachusetts. He is a connoisseur of traveling to the wildest of places that have yielded equally fascinating stories. He has a background in construction and he has also become a successful house flipper as well as started to dabble in real estate ventures. He is a true optimist and dreamer and is willing to put the time and effort into whatever he sets his mind to. Aaron is also the enabler of fun and competition that is well balanced with an incredible sense of humor which always keeps things interesting, a great partner in crime. We share a love for traveling and being in the outdoors skiing, fishing, mountain biking, and camping.
Bridesmaid
College roomie Kelly is the greatest. I sat next to Kelly in a computer science class sophomore year of high school and we have been friends ever since. We went on to both go to WVU where we lived in the same house three years in a row. Our friendship is so great, we have the ability to turn a totally average night into one where one of us pees our pants laughing. (Hint: not Kelly) Kelly has the most contagious laugh and smile that makes you just want to be around her. I finally learned how to snowboard so I could attempt to keep up with her and now we have managed to plan annual ski trips together with our main men (who are also equally obsessed with each other).
Groomsman
Arthur a designer extraordinaire and my business partner at Slice Lab. We attended both Carnegie Mellon and UPenn together where we bonded over innovative design and fabrication. He is Paris born and a NYC native with a keen eye for fashion and ear for music. He may be my exact polar opposite and for some reason, it works out perfectly. He has a very unique design style and an attention to detail that is unrivaled. Though we rarely see each other living so far apart, we speak on a daily basis as we work exclusively together remotely.
Bridesmaid
Workout buddy Danielle is the nicest human ever. She is so genuine that she makes you want to be better person. We met after going to the same Baltimore gym for a bit and then realizing we lived in the same apartment building. From then on, we grew our love of fitness and continued to try new things together. Danielle has a knack of keeping me motivated while cheering me on. We both left Baltimore around the same time but that only made our friendship stronger and now we are back in the same city! I am truly blessed to have Danielle as one of my best friends and workout buddies.
Groomsman
I originally met Gavin at our Cornell program where he had made an outlandish impression on me and we have kept in touch ever since. I have yet to come across someone who has met Gavin and not recalled it later. This Manhattanite is a unicorn of interaction, a must not miss personality. He is a top-notch problem solver who operates on a different level, both in being impulsive and outrageous yet subtle and calculated. Though probably for the best, we see each other once a year for our annual ski trip and there is never a dull moment with this man, he always delivers a good time.
Bridesmaid
Dance carpool companion Sarah is such a thoughtful friend. We met in middle school when we found ourselves living in the same Woodbine neighborhood. With not much else to do over the summers, we played flashlight tag and made music videos in our basements, laughing hysterically the whole time. We danced together at Ballet Royale and by the end of our first carpool year, we turned reading lights into 'microphones' and hosted our very own RIDICULOUS 'radio show'. You can ask Sarah's mom how hilarious we thought we were. Our radio show bond has only grown stronger over the years and I know I can always count on Sarah when I need advice (like talking me out of ridiculous purchases), a laugh or just a catch-up. I am so honored to have her by my side at our wedding!
Groomsman
Brian was among my first good friends on the Hockey and Lacrosse teams throughout middle school and high school. He is a full-time teacher in Boston which is so fitting for his generous personality. He is a master conversationalist, you could put him in a room full of total strangers and he’ll be best friends with everyone in no time. He is among the nicest and most accommodating individuals out there. Random fact - he is the most comfortable person behind a wheel and would be my first call for a getaway car in a bank heist.
Bridesmaid
Neighborhood bestie Jessica was one of my first friends when the Rossomondo's moved to Woodbine. She has always been one of my favorite people - never taking things too seriously and is ALWAYS down to have a good time. Jessica joined Sarah and I in our music video productions and neighborhood fun. Over the years we have ebbed and flowed and even though we don't get to see each other very much, Jessica will always be near and dear to my heart.
Groomsman
Vivek and I met at undergrad orientation week and we immediately became great friends and later roommates. He is always open to any adventure, big or small even when it means gearing up to go out with a seasoned ski/bike crew as a beginner. Vivek is the most modest, selfless guy all around yet quite a boss man at the same time. He knows how to get things done without breaking everything in his path. Look no further if you are seeking out the wittiest guy in the room.
Bridesmaid
Friend turned roomie Jen is a badass. I met Jen when I moved to Seattle in 2014. Jen has been a ride or die since day one though, always there to lend a helping hand, google search or even offer a place to live! I moved in with Jen and her husband Eric for my last few months in the Seattle area, and Jen being the rockstar friend she is, endured my poor planning and helped me make approx 87 trips from my apartment to their house. I am so grateful to have Jen in my life and even though we live in separate states, we are still just as close. I am stoked to have her stand next to me on our wedding.
Groomsman
Greg and I had a lot in common throughout college being in the same graduating class of architecture, hockey and soccer teams, and roommate a couple of times over. He pretty much helped my graduate as he was my go-to guy in proofreading any and all papers (even ones I didn’t ask for). He is a very loyal and thoughtful guy down to the minutiae of unnecessary details, especially in showing off his expertise in costume designs. He is very much a Sabres fan and proud member of the Bills Mafia (hide your folding tables). He will unapologetically find a way to let you know this within minutes of meeting him, at the very least he’ll be sporting something with a buffalo on it. This also gives him the jurisdiction to be the Sommelier of buffalo wings that he is.
Bridesmaid
Fellow cookie dough lover I admire Julie so much. She is the most loyal, sweetest, loving friend ever. I met Julie when I moved to Seattle in 2014 and we have been great friends ever since. We even had the opportunity to live in the bay area at the same time and would make a point to have at least monthly dinners together. We love and support each other through everything life throws at us and I think since moving away from Seattle, we have only grown closer. I am so honored to have Julie part of our special day.
Groomsman
He is among the friendliest guy around but underneath he is a man of minimalism and precision as an Architect, Air Force Academy graduate and a previous resident athlete at the US Olympic training center paralleling his stellar D1 wrestling career, a true Jack of all trades. This guy is among the best of the best in storytelling, as he is well versed in painting a picture with the most humorously pointed word selection. A true verbal alchemist with his technical lingos, catchphrases and movie quotes. Additionally, he is a very talented skier and mountain bike enthusiast.
Bridesmaid
the OG roommate I met Deb when we both worked at UA. During a team trip together, I realized she was probably one of the funniest people I had ever met. Having recently relocated to Bmore, she was looking for a roommate. The stars aligned and I moved in! We lived together for 2 years and it was so fun! The space meant for a dining table was quickly designated as our dance floor and on many occasions, was used as space to teach ourselves the dances from Beyonce, MJ and Britney music videos (the classics). Some of my favorite memories in Baltimore include Deb by my side. She helped me find independence and sense of self, influencing who I am today. We have both moved to new states and started new adventures but our tight bond and friendship have stayed constant.
Groomsman
Another prominent member of the California crew, Rob is a self-trained and successful traveling photographer, using his lens as a brush. This compositional visionary is an extremely friendly guy that makes absolutely phenomenal eye contact during a conversation. While he is very laid back, he is impeccably observant about pretty much everything and he’ll likely let you know it in one hilarious way or another. He is a surfer first but I mostly fit into his sports schedule playing hockey, mountain biking or skiing. This guy is in the right place at the right time all the time, constantly finding himself in the most interesting scenarios and is able to talk his way into or out of any situation.
Groomsman
I originally met Kalin in SF, he was the first to welcome me to a crucial group of friends that would later become a large portion of my groomsmen. He is a unique designer and Architect with a recent focus on real estate development. This cultural nomad is always up to something new and exciting. When he is not rock climbing he is likely laying low, sipping on some java and planing his next adventure. Kalin chooses his words very carefully and his insightful perspective on life has always pushed me to see things in a different light, even when I was dead sure of how they were. For this reason, you may hear me refer to him as the Dalai Lama.
Groomsman
Ben has a fascinating equilibrium of being laid back and a very driven, headstrong guy that was likely the captain of the debate team in a previous lifetime. This negotiation champion is a fearless competitor and adventure seeker between his spearfishing excursions to riding waves in the most tropical waters. Ben has a great affinity for hand-ground coffee, slab bacon, and the occasional whiskey. This handsome young lad is not much of a follower of norms and will question why things are how they are both in life and in his career as a UX researcher at Google. He is in a way a rebel that plays by his own rules, nobody else's, not even his own. When he is not on the water you can find this self-taught carpenter making impressive wood cutting slabs for fun.
Baby Bridesmaid
Miss Mila is the best! We love this little lady so much, and are so excited to have her part of our special day. Mila was actually sort of part of our engagement without even knowing it! Diego and I got engaged five days before Mila graced the world with her presence. We were very thankful she waited a couple days so her mama Lesley could celebrate with us! Her sweet eyes and big smile make us melt and watching her grow into the spunky, strong, beautiful little girl she is today has been such a delight.
Baby Bridesmaid
Little Ava graced joined the family this past June and just in time to celebrate! We are so excited to watch her grow up and hopefully live closer soon to make visits a little easier. We can already tell Ava is going to be a little light in our life and can't wait to see her dressed up and escorted down the aisle by her new, big sister!
