Things To Do

National Aquarium

501 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD

The National Aquarium in Baltimore is one of the best in the nation and it is within walking distance of the Renaissance Hotel! You might want to call ahead regarding tickets but a walk around the Harbor, ending or beginning at the Aquarium would make for a lovely Saturday!

Fells Point

800 South Broadway, Baltimore, MD

Fells Point is Natalie's favorite neighborhoods in Baltimore and one that she and some of her bridesmaids frequented on many Friday and Saturday nights. Situated right on the harbor, it is home to some great bars, coffee shops and really shows off Bmore's charm! Fun Fact: If you're a fan of the shows House of Cards or Veep, a lot of scenes were shot on the streets of Fells Point Some of our favorite places are: - Max's Taphouse for an insane selection of beers - Pitango Bakery + Cafe for coffee and treats - The Waterfront Hotel for lunch and stealing is encourages so make sure to take one of their pint glasses that says WTF on it - Thames Street Oyster House for some MD seafood

Little Italy

222 Albemarle St, Baltimore, MD

Baltimore's Little Italy is small but jam packed with authentic Italian restaurants. Make sure to stop by Vaccaro's Italian Pastry shop for the best cannoli and a shot of espresso!

Harbor East

811 Aliceanna St, Baltimore, MD 21202

In the mood to shop? The Renaissance is attached to the Galleria shopping mall but if you'd like some more options, make your way to Harbor East. You can find stores like Lululemon, Anthropologie, MAC, Bonobos, South Moon Under and lots more! There is also a Whole Foods if you need a quick bite.

American Visionary Art Museum

800 Key Hwy, Baltimore, MD

Spend a couple hours checking out the cool and eclectic art at the AVAM! If the September heat doesn't get to you, you can take the sightseeing route and walk from the Renaissance hotel around the harbor to get the museum.

The Walters Art Museum

600 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD

Located in another charming and historic neighborhood, Mt. Vernon, this museum is centered around collections from the 19th century. The building is beautiful and it could be a nice air-conditioned escape from the summer heat.

Oriole Park at Camden Yards

333 West Camden Street, Baltimore, MD

The O's are away during the wedding weekend but this baseball stadium is beautiful and you can schedule a tour of the park or just walk around to check it out yourself.
