The Cottages at Point Reyes Seashore is a great hotel that we will be providing shuttles from on the day of the wedding. There are also several VRBOs or AirBnBs in Inverness, as well as a local vacation rental listing site at pointreyesvacationrentals.com. Try to stay no further than Point Reyes Station, as while it might look close on the map, the roads are windy and very dark at night.
Wedding attire is Formal. The wedding will be outdoors, most likely in the 60s-70s during the day and in the 50s at night, bring layers. Keep in mind the ground is soft and can be dusty. Avoid stilettos. Keep in mind for your trip that Northern California has micro-climates, meaning it might be 55 and foggy by the coast, while 20 minutes inland is 75 and sunny. It also could very well be cold and foggy or warm and sunny at the wedding. Bring a shawl!
Rideshare services are largely not available in Inverness, but may be possible if scheduled a in advance. For the Wedding, we will be providing shuttles from Cottages at Point Reyes Seashore Hotel and St. Columba's Church, and can also coordinate shuttles from some other hotels and vacation rentals. There is limited parking available at St. Columba's. The drive to Tony's from Inverness is a gorgeous, windy, 30 minute drive along Tomales Bay. For brunch on Sunday, please carpool or walk if possible. If you plan to drive, you can park in front of the house on Forres Way and in the neighborhood, please be respectful of our neighbors and be sure not to block any gates or driveways.
