Chateau Elan Cooking Classes
The theme for September is the Thrill of the Sea. The class is $150pp and they have available classes on September 1, 2, and 3 from 7-10pm.
Chateau Elan Wine Tour & Tasting
If you are staying at the Chateau Elan Inn then you get a complimentary wine tasting included in your stay. If you are not, then you can use this link to book a tour and tasting. The tour will take you almost everywhere - including our spaces for the wedding. The tour is $45 and the pours are very generous. You can also just do a tasting for $45. Get a charcuterie board to go with it and you'll be winning!
Black Art & Theater Festival
There are soooooo many shows! Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, One Woman shows, a montage to Nina Simone, and Chocolate Box just to name a few!
Atlanta Black Pride Festival
Running from August 31st-September 5th there will be a myriad of parties (day & night) as well as vendors, concerts, and a parade in downtown ATL.
College Football: Oregon vs Georgia
On September 3rd, UGA will play Oregon in the season's inaugural game at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in ATL! Tickets range from $200-550 on Ticketmaster
Food-o-Rama Festival
CALLING ALL FOODIES! This food truck/food stand festival is sure to satiate! On September 3rd there will a park full of food to fill your belly. Hours are from 12-8p.
The Spa @ Chateau Elan
There are numerous treatments available, day journeys that consist of multiple treatments and a meal, as well as wellness courses.
Hot Air Balloon Festival @ Callaway Gardens
From September 2-4th catch the hot air balloons go up at Callaway Gardens. This place has it all, water activities, rides, food, and fireworks. A perpetual carnival. A bit of a ways away but worth it.
Hike Stone Mountain
Take your chances and get a good cardio workout in. Tori and I did this climb and it was a sweaty good time. The views are incredible. Maybe take a walking stick. ;)
Cork & Canvas @ Chateau Elan
Also known as Sip and Paint, enjoy Chateau Elan wine and painting. You can also order a charcuterie board and have it all! There is a class on Friday, September 2nd at 7pm and the cost is $85pp.
Chateau Elan Wellness Classes
On September 3rd there are a few classes: 1. 8am Serenity Hike 2. 9am Core Conditioning 3. 10am Meditative Stretch 4. 11am Bands & Buns The cost per class is $30. If you are staying at the Chateau Inn you can also use the spa amenities while there. There are also classes on Monday, September 5th you can register for should you feel so inclined.
