The Santa Barbara County Courthouse is a beautiful building in downtown Santa Barbara that is worth visiting while you're in town! Free one-hour tours are offered Monday through Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and weekends and court holidays at 2 p.m. (no reservations required). We highly recommend visiting the Clock Tower at the Courthouse—the 360-degree view of Santa Barbara is a can’t-miss! The top of the tower is accessible by both stairs and elevator.
Stearns Wharf is located at the end of State Street, right off the beach, and here, you can find plenty of specialty shops, seafood restaurants, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Sea Center. We highly recommend spending some time here to get the small town beach feel of Santa Barbara!
Santa Barbara County and the Santa Ynez Valley are home to beautiful vineyards with stunning views and the most delightful wine! Located ~45 mins outside of Santa Barbara, we highly recommend venturing to one of the many wineries in the area to experience one of the elements that makes Santa Barbara so special. Some stand-outs are Fess Parker, Buttonwood, or Brave & Maiden, but there are so many wineries to choose from that you really can't go wrong!
Phenomenal pizzeria less than a 10 min drive away from Downtown Santa Barbara! Their Cacio & Pepe Arancini is to DIE for and their Pepperoni Pizza comes with honey drizzled on top and is divine! Bettina can get quite busy so if you're interested in going for lunch or dinner, we highly recommend making a reservation in advance.
One of our favorite breweries in Santa Barbara! They have plenty of outdoor space, an extensive beer selection, and delicious food! Our personal favorite food item on their menu is the Buffalo Wings with a side of ranch but everything on their menu is phenomenal so you can't go wrong. A great place to sit and have some drinks and eats in the Santa Barbara sunshine!
