As the host of our reception, Mission Point Resort is offering a block of rooms at a special rate for our guests through July 20, 2026. Please click "View" to book online or call (800) 833-7711 to use our room block. There is a shuttle that transports guests to and from the resort to the ferry dock. Ferry Boats & Parking

Shepler's Ferry has generously provided discounted ferry tickets for our guests. Please call (800) 828-6157 for tickets. Parking is available through Shepler's Ferry or in other lots downtown Mackinaw City. If you are bringing your own bike, you will need to register your bike and purchase a ticket at the ticket office. Shepler's Ferry staff will help you with getting your luggage on and off the boat. If you are staying at a hotel, dock porters will meet you on the dock to help transport your luggage to your accommodations.

Horse Drawn Taxis

How to get a cab: call Carriage Tours at (906) 847-3323. The horse-drawn taxi cabs are radio dispatched and available 24 hours/day during the summer season. Taxi cabs cannot be "hailed" on Mackinac Island, rather, you must call the taxi dispatch office to request taxi service. How to pay: Taxi drivers are only able to accept cash . ATM's are available at the taxi stand and at the Island banks.

Bike Rentals

Bicycles are the quickest mode of transportation on the island. You can rent bikes on Mackinac by the hour or by the day. We recommend renting bikes at Mission Point Resort or Mackinac Wheels.
