FAQs

The Wedding Website of Natalia Wohletz and Erik Gustafson
Question

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

Mackinac is a busy destination and accommodations on the island can book up close to a year in advance. We encourage all of our guests to explore travel and reserve lodging as early as possible in order to ensure you can join us for our big day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our wedding is Formal, we ask that our guests wear a suit, long gown, midi dress, or cocktail dress. Sparkly dance shoes encouraged. For our Welcome Party, we welcome you to wear Business Casual attire. Sweaters, blouses, button-downs, slacks and dark jeans are encouraged. No jackets, ties, or heels necessary. Wear your layers as Mackinac can get chilly after sunset. Ultimately, we want you to feel good! Dress to impress, but without the stress!

Question

How should we get to the venues?

Answer

The Welcome Party is hosted at the Haan's 1830 Inn B&B, which is directly next to St. Anne's Church, about a block away from Mission Point and a 10 minute walk from downtown. You're welcome to walk, bike, or order a taxi. The Reception is in the Cypress Room of the main Mission Point Resort Lodge, a 15 minute walk from any downtown hotels. To organize a taxi, please call Carriage Tours at (906) 847-3323. We recommend ordering taxis in advance. Please note that taxis are horse drawn carriages and thus move at their own speed, be patient and enjoy the slow Mackinac lifestyle.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This will be an adults-only celebration!
