Things To Do

Having lived in Delaware my whole life, I have a few recommendations for our out-of-town guests looking for something to do the rest of their stay! -Abby

Brew HaHa!

5329 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808
, (302) 234-9600

Any Brew HaHa location will offer a cozy environment and great local coffee to start your morning.

Woodside Farm Creamery

1310 Little Baltimore Road, Hockessin, DE 19707
, (302) 239-9847

For those with a sweet tooth like me, Woodside is a Delaware favorite with homemade ice cream and lots of flavors to choose from.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

700 Capitol Trail, Newark, DE 19711
, (302) 737-3500

There are IHOPs and Waffle House, but Perkins' breakfast menu will hook you up with considerably-sized portions, low prices, and freshly made baked goods (and it was my first job ever) :)

Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia is a short drive away for those staying in the area longer and looking for attractions, dining, and entertainment.

Wilmington Riverfront

Wilmington, DE

From waterfront dining to scenic walking paths, the Wilmington Riverfront is a local option for food, exploration, and attractions.

Delaware City

Delaware City, DE

Delaware City is a quaint area along the Delaware River with lots of history and antique buildings. Jordan and I like to take walks around here when he visits.

For all the days along the way
