WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

After attending Liberty University for about 6 months, I decided to create a Tinder account. It was something of a gut feeling because within a month, we matched and met for our first date at an LU baseball game. We enjoyed Chick-fil-a for dinner, and Jordan made his infamous icebreaker, "So, what's your favorite animal? Mine is a grizzly bear." - Abby

It was an exciting month of going on fun dining hall dates, sipping on iced coffee from Starbucks, and constantly making each other laugh. My friends on my hall quickly approved of Abby and she would hang out with us and we would have a great time. I felt such a strong connection with Abby that I took her home to meet my family at Easter after only two weeks of knowing each other. After a month of getting to know her, I knew I wanted to make her my girlfriend, so in my friends car I nervously asked her to be my girlfriend. I’m so thankful she said yes and has been such a blessing and made every day special. - Jordan

Jordan joined my family on vacation to the Outer Banks. While he had been planning a different beach proposal with my mom and sister, Jordan decided to bring the ring along the morning we went to watch the sunrise in case the time presented itself. We had set up the phone to take a video while we posed with the sunrise. When I ran back towards the phone to turn off the video, he called out saying, "Wait, I have one more pose!" Cue the knee dropping and look of terror on his face. Best sunrise ever. - Abby
